  1. J&G has Yugo toks and SOG has Romanian. Which should I get and why? Or is there another option out there that I should look into. Thanks!
  2. Mine is just a suppressor. I'm not baller enough for a MG yet. But I'll definitely hit you up. I'm a member out at MSSA as well so we have several options for shooting.

The SR series is awesome. And so is the threaded 22/45!
  6. Good luck. The ATF just cashed my check on a mite so I just started this process myself.
  7. How much is a lot of money? I saw 203s selling for 2 grand recently. How much can you save by building one?
  8. Yeah I am doing this myself mostly. So far, I have 60 bucks in it.
  9. I think it's rock river that released a pistol with a different recoil system. No need for a buffer tube.
  10. No problem. I used that method and it worked great. I used a coat hanger and a pallet to hang them up.
  11. Take the gun completely apart. Hang the parts out in the direct sunlight when it gets around 80 degrees and the cosmoline will literally drip off it.
  12. Before stripping. After glass blasting. I'm getting excited.
  13. Midnight Lace is gorgeous! Project #23 Midnight Lace
  14. Nice. I want one!
  15. I'll be sending out paperwork next week for my mite.
  16. The instructions are so thick because it also come with a trigger kit.
  17. The guys on rfc love the kit. Personally, I don't have a problem stripping mine.
  18. I will definitely stop in at some point.
  19. So I'm filling out a Form 4 for my first silencer and I got to box 5 and got hung up. It asks for FFL number if any. It doesn't apply to the NFA stuff but I do have my C&R so should I put that number in there? Will it make things any faster?
  20. It's at the blasting shop now. Hope to be able to pick it back up on Friday.
  21. I couldn't find any refinishing services that were cheap enough for my liking so I decided to kinda take matters into my own hands. I started thinking about my body shop. Now before you laugh too hard, let me explain. I have been using the same body shop for a long time and consider the owner and his son, the painter to be friends. They are also gun guys like myself. After talking to them, they decided that they wanted to try it out and see what happened so they are currently picking up a few different popular finishes and we are going to use my pistol as a test. We are gonna start with duracoat and hope that we can get the result we want, which is a glossy black. But first, the pistol needs to be stripped. I completely stripped the frame and slide last night and now its ready for blasting. I am going to go by Rick's Powdercoating later this week to see about getting them to soda blast it. If their price is reasonable, I will be getting them to take care of that for me. After blasting, it will be time for the finish. I didn't take any pics of the progress yet but I will try and remember to take some later today.
  22. Am I correct in understanding that Don is an MSJ member as well?
  23. Will do. I'm not opposed to spending that much but only if they are gonna blast it first and then finish it. I'll eventually figure something out.
  24. This is where I intend to get my grips from. http://www.marschalgrips.com/cz82/cz82.html
  25. Wow. That actually looks really good. i want a black finish though. I wonder if I should get him to blue it.
