  1. They still have the rifle listed on their website. They might not sell it separately though.
  2. I'm well aware of what is out there and want a Kidd classic pretty badly. But I was asking because Il Duce and I have discussed this a few times and I thought he was staying with the Ruger receiver but he said ALL Kidd rifle. Confused me.

Yep. 200 dollars and unfortunately, about a 6 to 7 month wait.
  4. Will do. It'll be a while though. This is pretty far down on the priority list.
  5. I'll be picking one of these up over the next year or so as I now have plans for a .22lr SBR. Ace makes the folding mechanism last time I checked. AR-15/M-16 Specialty Folding Stocks
  6. For me, with noone else that I would put on the trust, I went the individual route. Its not really a huge deal down here. Its a little time consuming but after the first time, its just waiting on the court to call my name a couple of times.
  7. What are you trying to get done?
  8. Yep. Glocks shoot you in the ass. Kimbers shoot you in the hand.
  9. Exactly. The second episode of their new show "Alcatraz" featured a sniper. He was using a Winchester Model 70 and I don't know how many times they said those words or showed the rifle.
  10. Except the receiver right?
  11. Sometimes your bluing guy goes on vacation and his replacement sucks!
  12. Duce, A guy just posted a pic of his bolt over on RFC and its just silver. Not rust colored. Call them!
  13. Rob screwed up this thread and me posting this is the only way to mark this thread as read.

Don't know if you've seen this.
  15. Just got to post in here that I am a little bit excited. From my estimates, I'm about two weeks out on my Form 1 SBR.
  16. Kyle is very smart when it comes to gun laws. And he is knowledgable on NFA as well. I'm sure its registered.
  17. Anytime you start a business, a lawyer is a good idea. But when that business centers around firearms and firearms law, its almost a necessity.
  18. I will be running on the Nikon Prostaff Rimfire on my CZ452. Haven't bought it yet though. I am running a Vortex Diamondback Rimfire on my AR15 (.22) and I like it alot.
  19. I took that as he has an 08 that he recently acquired. Believe it not, people can buy used cars.
  20. If you are a lefty, you want the charging handle on the right side. That keeps you from changing your grip to work the action.
  21. Let me second Richards Microfit Gunstocks. Richards makes some absolutely gorgeous stocks and you can get all kinds of different styles and variations.
  22. The plugs in the 5.4 trucks from 04-08 are known to break in the heads and require removal of the head to fix.
  23. Guys on the Ruger forums and RFC are reporting slide wear caused by the slide stop. Noone has pinpointed exactly why though many suspect that the slide stop wasn't properly filed and had rough edges. Be sure to check that out on yours. Also, check your barrel screw torque before you start shooting. Some of the guns were shipped with that bolt a little loose.
  24. You could build it if you were an 07/02. However, like Dolomite said, you need a letter. And you would have to get rid of it if your 07/02 expires.
