  1. 22 is still the most versatile cartridge. You might not take anything at 300 yards but you can take deer and other game with a 22.
  2. I know guys. But I'm also sinking quite a bit of money into a GSG5 PK. I'm a few weeks away from an approved stamp on that gun. It will be a SBR 22 that looks like an MP5k PDW. No other purpose on that but to look cool. This is what it looks like at this point. In a month's time, it will have a vfg handguard, a side folding stock and a three lug flash hider. Just because I can. I still get yalls point though. I just feel like causin crap today.
  3. That's true. Deadly from both ends. haha
  4. As a company, if putting the word Tactical in something will help it sell better, I'd do it to. You know how much I love Ruger. Even Ruger has a tactical 22. http://www.ruger.com...cal/models.html And for what its worth, I'm not nearly as angry or upset as my posts make me sound.
  5. I love shooting 22s. I take my 22s seriously. And I have a couple that cost more than most people could even consider spending on a 22. Just because I want my 22 to look like a larger caliber rifle, doesn't mean that the gun doesn't serve a purpose. Even if that purpose is just for me to have fun. I don't understand what it is about people that makes them think they have the right to judge how someone that they don't even know spends his money or has fun.
  6. Negative sir. And I made my post prior to reading your post.
  7. I can't believe this is a discussion again. Some people like to own things for the look. Some people like to own them for the fun factor. Some people are caliber snobs. GET THE FLICK OVER IT ALREADY!
  8. When yall talk about these rates, for what term length? Are you talking 300 per year, per month, FOREVER?
  9. Fun episode so far. I actually know Dylan fletcher so he will have my support as long as he is on the show.
  10. On arfcom and nfatracker, Lamberger seems to be approving forms that went pending in the first week and a half of September. My pending date is Sep 20 and I'm thinking I'll have mine back towards the end of this month.
  11. Tell me about it. I'm really jealous of those with the knowledge and tools to make their own.
  12. It won't go pending until about a month after the check is cashed. Wait for the check to clear and then call 4 weeks later.
  13. Really digging this. Thinking about ordering the kit for one of my upcoming builds.
  14. They have made some that were user serviceable and some that weren't. Best thing to do is to call AAC and give them the serial number and ask.
  15. Well, I'm clearly smarter than an AAC rep. And since they have had some recent layoffs, perhaps I should go run things over there.
  16. Its amazing you say that Il Douchebag, since I already posted the link above where he could order them...ONLINE! MWUHAHAHAHAHA
  17. Ok cool. just making sure. In that case, you should be fine. You will just need to order the correct piston for the hosts you are using.
  18. What is your permanent address? If you live in Cordova, you will have to have the can transferred (Form 3) to a dealer in TN and then a Form 4 transfer after that. Here is a link where you can order pistons threaded for 9mm use. http://www.advanced-armament.com/product.aspx?pid=603#pid=724
  19. I don't know about the tirant but most pistol caliber cans have interchangeable pistons for the different calibers. Find out if you can put a 9mm piston in the tirant45. Are you buying from an individual in town or a shop or online or what? If you aren't buying from an individual in town or a shop, then you are a bit premature in filling out the form 4.
  20. I order my cards when I order the forms. I have a stack at home of 20 of everything.
  21. In Shelby county, I get my fingerprints done at the same place that criminals get processed. Talk to someone in the courts and see.
  22. I wouldn't read too much into it. Demand has been steadily increasing over the past couple of years. Plus, the restructuring last year and retired examiners left them short staffed. They had to bring in replacements from different divisions. The election isn't the root cause here.
  23. Check was cashed in August. So as far as I'm concerned, that's when the timer started. But if you are talking from pending then yes, I'm within 5 months. Pending on Sep 20. I expect to have it around the 15th to 20th of this month.
  24. Well I just threw a wrench in that for you. Mailed my form 1 in August. January would have been 5 months.
  25. Didn't all of the original members of Sabbath play a short set at an Ozzfest a few years back? If so, that would make it a twice in a lifetime event.
