  1. I outlined the exact process for Shelby County. Its not that big of deal. But if you have to take off work for it, then that does kinda suck.
  2. The little one just got here today.
  3. Kershaw Cryo gets my vote. But there are other options that will have better steels in that budget. I just like the Cryo because if you loan it out or lose it its not a big deal.
  4. Is that a lock back?
  5. If its a 10/22, I'm happy with Que's threading job he did on my 77/22.
  6. First, YHM is NOT among the best in 22 cans. Second, supressor technology is really at a peak right now. Major manufacturers are within 5 decibels of each other and materials, size and weight are really the only things that are changing. A new generation can will only have size and weight as a selling point over an old one right now. I like that they are continuing to push the envelope but there just aren't a lot of gains happening. If something happens and we do see a big breakthrough, the next step will be movie quiet.
  7. I would recommend the Sparrow. If you look around and shop smart, you can get them for 350 sometimes. Its top notch in the land of 22 cans. Another option would be the Huntertown Arms Kestrel. Instead of a monocore, you get K baffles but still a nice easy to take apart and easy to clean design. Its also under your budget.
  8. Thats strange that they have you in the system but haven't cashed the check. Usually doesn't happen like that.
  9. I took this last night. These are my EDC blades. Its usually the XM in my pocket but the others have their place as well. I still say the Rat 1 is the best folder you can get for 30 bucks.
  10. Have you called about it yet?
  11. From the story I read, the TV was purchased on Amazon's marketplace so it could have easily been a pawn shop or something or a store that happens to carry both.
  12. I'm back to my XM. Its weird going back and forth between this and the 560.
  13. I can't answer the trust question but yes to the form 1. CoC needs to be included always. And its only like three lines so its good practice to just include it regardless.
  14. Actually, if they noticed the error, it means that they finally got to you. If you sent in the CoC yesterday, I would expect that you will get your stamp back this month.
  15. Sounds like the Certificate of Compliance that you should have included in the original package. Is this the form? http://www.atf.gov/forms/download/atf-f-5330-20.pdf
  16. The 560 got new clothes last night.
  17. My ZT0560 knocked my XM18 out of pocket.
  18. The cryo is a great small knife. The blade is 2.75 inches so it's smaller than any xm. The cryo 2 will be 3.25 so slightly larger. Check one out if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed. As for the 560 vs XM, I find them both easy to use. The XM has a much heavier blade and uses only Teflon washers. The 560 has a lighter blade and rides on bearings. The 560 is easier for a beginner to flip but I have no problem getting full lockup out of either one. And thanks everyone for the compliments. My XM is my baby. It was my grail knife and I was lucky enough to get it at blade.
  19. The top one is the Zero Tolerance 0560. The picture is a bit deceiving as it looks to be the same size as the XM but its a bit larger. You can see that in a couple of the other angles. If the 560 is something you are interested in, pm me and I will let you know where you can get the best price on one.
  20. Got both of these in this week. Nice knives. Especially the 560. I took a few pics of them with my XM18.
  21. Two suppressors is the best option. But makers like Huntertown Arms and their Kestrel are coming out as take apart cans.
  22. I remember a time when people helped each other out just because. Something about a golden rule or something. Nowadays people are so self involved, they don't care about anyone else at all.
  23. All of the uber leet tactical operator mall ninja shooters out there might not like it but I sometime long for the way things used to be at the Shelby County public range. There was an RO that called hot or cold and kept an eye on everyone, always. It may have taken a little longer to shoot but it was much safer.
  24. Since you don't need fingerprint cards or CLEO signature, you wouldn't have to do any of this with a trust.
