  1. I bought this second hand when it popped up and it is one of two. Its a great little utility blade made out of thick O2 steel. I sent it out to a guy for a bit of custom kydex. I got it back yesterday. The Kydex guy included three options. One horizontal belt sheath and two folders. One of the folders uses an o-ring for retention and the other uses magnets. I personally liked the o-ring the best of the two and chose it to start carrying this little blade. The chisel grind is really handy and I prefer using this for opening boxes now. I'm still working with my kydex guy to see if we can come up with something that deploys a little quicker but honestly, I really like it as is so far.
  2. 3 inch fixed blade. This little guy arrived yesterday. I played with one in a passaround a while back and fell in love. Great little EDC blade. The opportunity to buy this one came up and so I sold my ZT0560 to get it. Its a great compliment to my EDC XM18 3.5". The blade isn't in horrible shape but there is a small rust spot in the lanyard hole and a black mark on the blade. Its also dull and I suck at sharpening so its going back to the ranch for a little refurb.
  3. Was gonna pick one of these up (LOVE RJ Martin designs) but its just too small for me. Glad you like it though.
  4. Just for the record, the actress that plays Maggie is also British. Well kind of. She was born here but moved when she was incredibly young. She hold dual citizenship and grew up in the UK. She used her british accent (sexy!) for her character on Chuck.
  5. True. Ringer has been very productive. Problem, he is underused.
  6. The defense is definitely an problem and the O line is weak at best. But the most aggravating part is watching CJ get the ball and just stop. Then he gets tackled for a loss. When he had his big year, he would get the handoff and hit the O line. He would bounce off and find a gap and then be gone. That is a huge difference to the way he is playing this year. He expects to have that hole every time he gets ball and if its not there, he freezes. His speed is a non issue at this point because he only runs laterally. We need a big strong back again that can power off those three yard runs. If we got a few of those every series, the defenses would relax on the pass protection a little and we might be able to get a passing game going.
  7. And there is the problem. It was all of the other stuff that lost that game. That one call would have been a difference maker but how much? We will never know. Did he pull off the catch because of hearing the ump? We don't know that either. I don't think the outcome would have been different regardless of that call. The mistakes by Atlanta were just too much to overcome.
  8. But those thousand yards aren't consistent. He goes for 18 yards a game for 5 games and then busts 200. We don't need a thousand yard rusher like that. We need a consistent rusher.
  9. Just want to throw this out there. I believe that 4 inches is the legal limit for carry in the state of TN. If this is for an EDC knife, that should influence your decision.
  10. Erik, give the magpul AFG a try.
  11. Except the oil filter now becomes a silencer part and is to be handled by law in the same way as a silencer.
  12. The assistants review for errors just before it gets to the examiner so if you are getting it corrected, you are really close. Which makes me happy since I went pending on June 5th.
  13. Don't bother calling anymore. It won't do any good. You have already been approved. I've seen some forms take a month between approved and received.
  14. That makes more sense. I just saw the 210 and started to place an order. Regardless, really cool blade, Unc!
  15. Its only 200 bucks? Wow. Nice. By the way, you are Steven Willis? My uncle is Steven Willis. Gonna start calling you Unc.
  16. I outlined the exact process for Shelby County. Its not that big of deal. But if you have to take off work for it, then that does kinda suck.
  17. The little one just got here today.
  18. Kershaw Cryo gets my vote. But there are other options that will have better steels in that budget. I just like the Cryo because if you loan it out or lose it its not a big deal.
  19. Is that a lock back?
  20. If its a 10/22, I'm happy with Que's threading job he did on my 77/22.
  21. First, YHM is NOT among the best in 22 cans. Second, supressor technology is really at a peak right now. Major manufacturers are within 5 decibels of each other and materials, size and weight are really the only things that are changing. A new generation can will only have size and weight as a selling point over an old one right now. I like that they are continuing to push the envelope but there just aren't a lot of gains happening. If something happens and we do see a big breakthrough, the next step will be movie quiet.
  22. I would recommend the Sparrow. If you look around and shop smart, you can get them for 350 sometimes. Its top notch in the land of 22 cans. Another option would be the Huntertown Arms Kestrel. Instead of a monocore, you get K baffles but still a nice easy to take apart and easy to clean design. Its also under your budget.
  23. Thats strange that they have you in the system but haven't cashed the check. Usually doesn't happen like that.
  24. I took this last night. These are my EDC blades. Its usually the XM in my pocket but the others have their place as well. I still say the Rat 1 is the best folder you can get for 30 bucks.
