I gave mine a check out for IWB on Saturday just to see how it might go. Definitely a lot heavier than I'm used to and really needed to synch up the belt to get it hanging in there. Maybe a shoulder rig?

I heard several months ago the owners of the gun store down on Mt. Juliet Rd near Old Lebanon Dirt road were going to be opening it back up once improvements were to be made.

We always use clear sugar water

Yes, we finally have 4 fighting over our feeder. Maybe as the summer winds on more will come.

Classic is running the Star BM 9mm surplus pistols for $150. That's really a pretty good price for a nice compact size 9mm. They are 1911 style. I've got one I purchased from AIM several months ago and it's been a great shooter and fun gun. It's a little heavy compared to the polymer frame guns, but still I think a good value. It's pretty accurate and an easy shooter. I've updated a few things on mine and plan to give it a try for CCW. If you order one be sure to grab a couple of spare mags for $20 ea. https://www.classicfirearms.com/star-model-bm-9mm-8rd-original-box-manual-fair-condition?utm_source=bm23&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Image:+Star+Model+BM+SA+9mm+Semi-Auto,+4"+barrel,+8+Rd+Mag,+Original+Box+and+Manual+-+Surplus+-+Fair+to+Good+Surplus+Condition&utm_content=Special+Deal+On+Star+Model+BM+Pistols&utm_campaign=2018-07-23_StarModelBM&_bta_tid=08000453255476413427172220921536826126798580852209224883258073704786410786312845113842627835126078035207

Ring? What ring..

yep, It's called sintered metal. Basically metal powder is poured into a mold then under high pressure it forms the parts.

Worked for a company 20+ years ago that made a similar pistol. They had stopped making them some years before I worked there but there were some odds and ends around. I think they were 7 shot and 22lr. Everything but the barrel and cylinder were made of powdered metal. Looking back in their old records many were sold to hardware stores and pawn shops. Some for as little as $5 wholesale. Often they were shipped 50 or more at a time.
-
I've got one too. And the barrel on mine wobbles. Hard to hit a milk just at 10 ft. My grandmother gave it to me when I was about 12. My step grandfather gave it to her and she kept it under her pillow.

I like the Keltec stuff and have several of their models. Was at a store a month or so ago and saw one of their RDB-S. I thought the pictures were really goofy, but seeing and holding it in person, wow. I'd really like to have one. Pencil thin barrel, but the rest was amazingly nice. $1200 a bit steep, maybe they will come down. It was so dang little!

good luck with it, used to be a guy locally that had several of them. Would set them out in his front yard to sell.

We're in country, not much gentrification here. I did see one bird this afternoon. Maybe they were just passing thru

I put my feeder up. Had three birds. Had them for a week or so. Put up an additional feeder now I have none. What's the deal?

Don't see these around much anymore. Most were 4 cyl. this is an original six. Don't drive it much, but it is fun. Not super fast, but pretty quick.

My mother used to pressure cook it. We had it a few times a year. I cooked some a few years ago the same way and it tasted like I remembered. No one else here will eat it so I don't usually go to the trouble. It's slicker than turnip greens -

For years you could not purchase a factory 30 rnd mag for a mini 14, compliments of Bill Ruger. -

I had a model 67 which had a buttery trigger and one of my prized possessions, then just jackass stole it.

Dick's Sporting Goods anti 2nd A
seez52 replied to Patrick Henry's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
probably the only PR left once all the manufacturers told them to pound sand when they asked to return them. At least that's what I hope happened. -
I think they may have used those against Godzilla.

I think the annual dues are going to be 200/year. There may also be an initiation fee, but I don't know how much that is.

I've been using 55 gr. in my AR and getting one shot kills. Also using 35gr in a 222 bolt gun that has stopped them in their tracks. I chased a red fox up the driveway this afternoon. They are pretty animals I hate to shoot them... yotes on the other hand

they plan to soon. they are going to prorate the dues if I recall

If you're dealing local and not getting good feedback or response rate, then you're dealing with the wrong local lender. I deal with three different lenders and all of them give 24/7 (nearly) responses. And that's to me as a Realtor, and to my clients. The online mortgage companies can be a hit or miss. They often give great customer service when you're inquiring, then once they have the loan you move on to a different department/person and response boggs down. Generally, I try not to deal with the online outfits simply because you can't count on them in what is a time sensitive situation. I've done it, but hold my breath every time.
