  2. Don't ever remember there being a Gshow in Gallatin. I'm not even familiar with the venue. It's an RK show. Anybody going to see what shows up?
  3. Nice video, but I would have swapped the flag out for this one

    Drum mag question

I think with the drums one benefit is being able to keep them fully loaded but unwound so long term storage with springs under tension is not an issue, if that sort of thing bothers you. They are mite heavy.
  5. He didn't say that at all. Certainly slavery was one issue, but it was definitely not the sole issue or even the main one. Liberty and freedom from an overbearing government would need to be pretty high up on the list if not at the top. And in my opinion we're working our way back there today.
  6. Well said!!
  7. Although Maryland was and is considered a northern state by us in the south, (many Marylanders consider themselves part of the south, of course who could blame them for that considering the alternative). There were some sympathies from the south for Marylanders, and even a letter from R.E. Lee offering to come up there and help "throw off this foreign yoke and restore independence and sovereignty.... taking to you your natural position among them [other southern states]" Sept. 8, 1862
  8. I've had one for years. They used to have a little ad in the back of gun magazines in the 80's. Mine is about 4 ft long and once you get your blowin' down, you can hit stuff pretty good. have never tried any of the broadhead style darts. Is there a standard blow gun caliber? I used to have some plastic beads for making darts but can't find them anymore.
  9. so, anyone know how a yankee is like a hemorrhoid? .... If he comes down and goes back up he's OK, but if he comes down and stays down, he's nothing but a pain in the a$$.
  10. I generally use 5.0 of unique in 200 swc in .45 acp and makes for a nice easy shooting round. I'd say 6.5 is going to be humpping w/ a 230.

    ammo for keltec p11

Don't know if you can still get it, but I keep mine loaded with Win silvertips. Back in the day it was considered good self defense ammo. I'm sure gold dots and others are probably considered better now, but these silvertips run through my p11 just as good as fmj.
  12. Minis were always the favored weapon of the A Team. I can't imagine Hanibal, Mr. T and the others being wrong? And as far as mag changes are concerned, they never ran out of ammo and never had to change a mag.

    Kel Tech p-11

I've had one for quite some time. Have carried it a lot and really like the gun. I've about switched to a mouse gun now, still a Kel-tec, P-32 just because it's so easy. On the P-11 I use the belt clip accy. which holds well and limits the bulk of a holster. I also have a rubber wrap around on it which tames the recoil a bit. Every once in a while you can find a .40 cal. conversion kit for sale over on ktog.org. They discontinued the .40 cal. due to malfunctions usually caused by limp wristing.
  14. If I had any money and ran across a charlie model, it'd be mine.
  15. I want one too, a Charlie model. There are some naysayers, but those who own them seem well satisfied. Ktog.org has a lot of discussion on them. I've been an overall fan of Kel-tec and own several of their other items.
  16. If you're talking about the sub 2000 I really like mine. Haven't shot it a whole bunch, but it's neat in the way it folds up. Mine's in 9mm and takes Glock mags. there's a lot of discussion over on ktog.org on all the kel tec stuff.
  17. My father in law uses allegro to marinade his and I really like the taste. Not too salty
  18. I know from personal experience that a .45 will not go all the way through a hard disk drive, but is sure makes one heck of a dent! 7.62x25 zips right through.
  19. I think the armory had a 5% off coupon in the local paper on Wed. that was good on Friday. Said you needed the coupon, maybe sale items not included, don't remember exactly but everything else was eligible.
  20. you can bet any of the newly elected members were under heavy pressure to tow the party stalwarts along, and with them being greenhorns they felt they were in no position to rock the boat. Of course my philosophy has always been why just float along when you can rock the boat, it's a lot more interesting.
  21. this kinda crap is what gets the republicans in trouble every time. "we've got to get along, listen to both sides, compromise, and the most important--- we've got to keep the 'party first' mindset" Damn, we vote'em out they keep coming back, they're like zombies. Rep. or Dems, if they don't vote for the rights of the people they need to be out on their arse.
  22. that's pretty neat, should have some vintage guns on there though.
  23. you sure on the warranty? sometimes second hand is ok, especially if it says lifetime.
  24. I think your scope needs a trip back to it's birthplace. The hairs shouldn't move.
  25. If any are interested, I know some folks use these along with their coyote hunting. Weasel Ball for Pets [#8037] | EverydaySource.com© this place has a coupon (code:S1119WBPP) to knock $7.50 off the price making it a total of $5.50 and the shipping is free. Not a lot cheaper than elsewhere, but the free shipping makes it nice. You'll have to sign up for their free membership/mailing list. I've never tried one, but varmint Al shows using it here: Varmint Al's Hunting Page Varmint Al's rig:
