  1. Whoop him in the primary. That makes it especially sweet.
  2. That one probably would not be a mag clearance issue on an ak. Does it mount to a quad rail?
  3. Actually I believe the upside for them is more positive than negative even in the long term.
  4. Guess MidwayUSA better be looking for a new home.
  5. I think they speak a different language over there...
  6. This one has the five modes, but does remember the last mode. I wish you could choose the mode separate from the power switch. Yes, a positive press for power would be nicer. I'll check out the website.
  7. I've got a couple of these cheap china flashlights. They are pretty bright and work well so far. I've been considering putting one on an HD 12 ga. They only have a tail cap switch, so a little inconvenient but they do put out quite a light. Even have a strobe setting which is really blinding  to look at. Anybody ever mounted one of these to see if they would hold up under fire?   I think the ones I have are Trustfire or some such.

    Full synthetic.

Used to be I could buy a case of Castrol 20w50 for 99 cents a quart on sale at Kmart. Mobile 1 was about $3.50. I always wanted to treat my little VW with some but could never make myself spend the money Now when I go buy oil its at least $3.50 a quart and the synthetic is way over $5. Why is it that this "fake" oil has gone up just like real oil? You'd have thought the price would have evened out.
  9. I'm planning to get one of the Primary Arms red dots that will co-witness on an ultimak. Did have a 4x handgun scope on mine for a while just to see how the ak would group. Decided it was a waste of time. Some of it could have been the cheap steel case ammo.
  10. Dang, your about 3 weeks too late. I had a rivet masher for front trunion rivets you could have borrowed for free. Unfortunately I sold all my ak tools. The bolt cutter type tool works good and creates a factory look. You might be able to pick a used one up on the ak files, use it then resell, but that's a lot of work for one gun. You will proly also want a jig of some sort for the middle and rear to make sure the trunion is nice and tight.
  11. It is done. Not necessarily easier but does not require riveting tools. You would also have to demil the parts kit differently. Barrel does not have to come out if your kit has an original bbl. If you're doing a screw build.
  12. I feel better now. I can go back to looking for a job. Morons
  13. It is perfectly legal to make your own weapon as long as you are not in the business of making them and selling them.
  14. Alexander comes up in 2014. He needs a pink slip. We're stuck with the corker for another 6 years.
  15. He seems to have left himself a lot of wiggle room in the last sentence of the second paragraph. This is his stock n trade, as it is from many in DC.   I don't think anyone has proposed overturning the second amendment, actually everyone, even the most active gun grabber says they support the second amendment. From my point of view he has expressed no different stance than Bloomburg or Schumer and we all know where they stand.   Unless he specifically addresses the issue of additional regulation in his statement I would consider him capable of voting for further restrictions, just short of overturning the second amendment. He has told us just that, and we should believe him.
  16. Is this firm related to algore?

    $3500 AK! GOUGING!

    And just one mag
  18. They ran the 3 shooting stories right in front of the 2nd amendment rally story this morning on channel 5s local news. Doubt any of them would have even been mentioned were the media not in an all out war against guns
  19. Great bill, slight correction to his comments though, the Constitution does not give us any rights, we've had all rights from the beginning endowed to us by our creator. The constitution's purpose is to protect those rights from an over reaching federal government.
  20. Unfortunately I don't see an end to it.
  21. It used to be called yellow journalism
  22. I believe S&W did sell an auto loader some years ago, maybe a model 1000?
  23. good article and some good quotes in the comment section.   Let's roll.
  24. Here ya go. And I done seen it wit my own eyes.   http://brentkmoore.blogspot.com/2007/07/creature-of-sugar-flat-rd.html
  25. Back in the day it used to be the Tn Gun Collectors Association show.Twice a year and nothing was allowed that wasn't a gun.
