  1. When Cruz speaks he reminds me of some of the politicians from back in the 60s. And I think that is a good thing.
  2. I've had the same problem before and the same inclination to prime but have resisted. Its not worth it. I have pulled bullets by using a pair of dikes on the top of the press with die removed. If you're careful you can probably remove the bullet without too much damage
  3. I've been waiting for the talking mule jokes to start. Glad to know I'm not the only sick demented Protestant around.

    Keltec RFB?

I was thinking the last ones I saw were going for over msrp.
  5. I wish someone would coordinate a group buy on BP. I can never find any around here

    Taurus 82

They are a good sturdy pistol. Been around for ages.
  7. You've seen those rich tycoons that light cigars with hundred dollar bills. Well I now know how they must feel. With such pretty weather this afternoon I indulged myself and did a little plinking with a .22 rifle and a pistol. I shot off mite near 200 rounds. Man was it grand. There's nothing better than livin' large. I can only imagine how the peasants live. Sic. .... back to beans and rice tomorrow.
  8. Contact Eric Holder he may be able to arrange a drone vist for you
  9. Like I said, kissin ass

    Bulk AR lowers?

PSA has them on their website
  14. I was gonna build one, but then couldn't figure out what id do with it except make lots of noise. The super short ones are pretty neat, but again couldn't come up with a need.
  15. Yep, we're experiencing Abraham Lincoln's third term.
  16. They sent an email out a few days ago offering to sell 1000 small pistol primers on a one day sale for $40. It indicated they normally impose a 500 limit.
  17. I've always wanted to do this. I have plenty of room on the ground and a perfect place with good southern exposure. Unfortunately don't have the cash. Maybe one of these days.
  18. I know a lot of us on here are, well, cheapskates. While I don't mind down plunking down a few Benjamins on a piece of hardware I've had my eye on, store bought cleaning patches are something different. I've been using old tee shirts that I cut up with a pair of scissors, but its a pain. Any other idears out there or what you do to save a few bucks?
  19. Welcome to the neighborhood
  20. Are these ever ground mounted? I don't have a southerly facing roof.
  21. That's what I was wondering. When I was growing up we always saved seed from one year to the next, but I guess that's not a good plan these days. Guess I'll see what happens.
  22. Started some peppers & maters on the 20th and have some tiny shoots already. A couple of these are from seeds I saved from some store bought fruit. Any chance I'll get a harvest from them?
  23. Anybody go today?
  24. I ended up making most of my own tools. I did buy a bolt cutter rivet tool, a flat bending jig, and a headspace guage. The other stuff is pretty easy to develop if you take your time. I think we ended up making 20+ or so guns. That was back when you could get kits for 100 bucks. They all made up into some nice shooters. Some we just made stock, others got decked out with rails, folding stocks etc. it was a pretty good mix. Never did do any 74s, all 47s. One of may favorites was a Polish under folder. It turned out really nice, it was a great kit to begin with. I used a AK builder flat made just for them.   The biggest bugaboo was getting the rails spot welded in. Finally got the technique down and they ended up working out good. Still seems like it was a long process of putting one together, don't think I ever did one in less than about 8 hours. The last one I did went the quickest. It was on a tapco flat with the pre bent rails. It actually went together really good, used an AMD65 kit on it but swapped out the butt stock. I don't like those wire stocks.
  25. I just love this! It demonstraights the founders intent of states rights. All states were never intended to be all the same. If you don't like what's going on where you live, move somewhere else you do like. The more we let the central government intrude the less freedom we have--- on many levels!
