  1. I've got some 8mm with 1938 head stamps and Nazi proof marks that seem to shoot pretty well. Haven't tried to group them, but shoot every time.
  2. I've got three mossbergs and they are fine shooters. I'd even say tack drivers. All mine are magazine feed rather than tube. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
  3. Pretty neat that everything is mounted on giant springs so the nuclear blast pressure is absorbed.
  4. Not sure where you are looking to buy, but would be more than happy to help out if I can. We focus on Wilson county but have done deals all over Middle Tn. ... and we do return calls promptly. I'll pm you my email.
  5. I've got one of these and carry if often and have practiced drawing and shooting with the gun as shown. Not the greatest, but it does what is intended which is to make the gun ride property and in disguise in the hip pocket. I wish they had made some way to better anchor the gun to the holster as it is now it just sort of sits in there.   There was  holster back in the 70s-80s for the old High Standard .22mag derringer that basically folded over the gun and snapped and had just a hole for your finger to reach the trigger. Everybody was good with it for years and the holster alone accounted for a lot of the gun's sales. It was just a neat outfit. Several years ago they re-classified the holster as AOW and that pretty much killed the whole thing. The gun was not visible at all in the holster.
  6. I've got a friend that does this every once in a while. Not sure where he goes, but I think it's on an indian reservation. They use supressors to keep from having to wear muffs all day. It's always sounded like a lot of fun.
  7. Rossis are pretty sweet. Daring your friend to pull both triggers on two barrels of high brass 3" magnum shells, priceless.
  8. I've always wanted to do that
  9. Looks like it's time for a group buy on black powder, who's in?
  10. And just to get things going... if it had a plastic grip frame you'd have a Glock predecessor.
  11. The ubiquitous Raven 25. I'd say you got your moneys worth. Honestly all the ones I ever shot went off every time the trigger was pulled. The safety is a pain.
  12. Harry's got to keep his high grade rating from the NRA you know..
  13. You'll need to clean out the party before you'll ever be able to clean out Lamar. It's a sad state of affairs.
  14. Best bet... black gold and I'm not talk in about Texas tea. This black gold has a trigger and collapsable stock and or parts to make same.
  15. Comrades, the votes have already been counted and the republican party has added them up. Alex. will be able to say he voted no while some other senator not up for reelection next year will take his place. It will appear to be a close vote but everyone knows what the script says. Some version of universal background checks has been preordained.
  16. And there's still two days left for bidding   http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=6175250   http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=6175252   who wants to go in on this?
  17. plug welding works, spot welding would give you a more original appearance. When spot welding you have to make sure everything is super clean, then clean it again. Clamp clamp clamp tightly for best results. And it is possible to burn a hole in your receiver with a spot welder, trust me. And make sure your welder's tips are clean, too.
  18. planning to go, thought I might stay for night shoot this year. Never done dat.
  19. I belive the reason the 17th was enacted had something to do with some shenagians pulled by the legislators in Chicago. They were corrupt (duh) and had fixed their senators for a while so the 17th was developed to fix the problem. Chicago has always been the bain of our existance, even today.   Either fix the 17th or forget nibbling around the edge as this bill does. And lets put some term limits in there too and really get back to the Founders intent!! Or, go to a distributed governing body so that not every elected official is in one place. The Founders originally considered this as well.
  20. That looks like a picture out of a magazine. Very nice.   BTW. a shameless plug. If anyone out there is looking for a good Realtor, I just happen to know one....   http://www.sellmyhouse4free.com
  21. Lasted longer than I thought. Must have been the 500 limit
  22. get'em while you can, not bad...   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/627849/blemished-bullets-30-caliber-308-diameter-150-grain-full-metal-jacket-boat-tail-box-of-500-bulk-packaged?cm_cat=CheckoutConfirm&cm_pla=ProductDescrip
  23. I was thinking about getting a taper crimp die for 9mm. I've loaded a bunch without but have about 2k to do I plan for long term storage so I'm not sure what they will be shot in. Is everybody else using one?
  24. I was thing Romy front grip which I think is a little longer. Good job on the build BTW.
  25. The mag may not go in if the forward grip is reversed
