  1. I'm not a huge fan of snl, but it was on while I was doing something else last night. About half way through the ad it got my attention. At first I thought it was a snl spoof ad, but it wasn't. It ran again later in the show. I was just kinda surprised they would run a network TV ad, and they would choose to air it during snl. Wouldn't have guessed it to be a target audience for them.
  2. Is the print file out there or did you whip one up on your own?
  3. I am really interested in this. Curious, if it broke so easily by dropping how do you think it will hold up long term?
  4. I know there are 80% 10/22 blanks out there, has anyone done a build on one of those? I realize most builds like this end up costing more than you can buy a new one for, but just thought it might be an interesting project.
  5. They had some at Academy today for $15/box 50, but it didn't last long. 3 box limit. I missed out by about 2 minutes.
  6. I worked for a wholesaler back in the 80s and we were Detonics distributors. I remember admiring them at the time. They were always on the pricey side. The last batch I recall us having included some that did not have sights. They were meant to be that way.
  7. They will bring it back up and roll it into Bidens assault rifles being included in the NFA. And most will shake their heads and jump on the "free" tax stamp and go about looking at their phones, watching Ball games and Netflix.
  8. No. I was a member of the KTOG forum way back when the pistol was introduced and they offered members a special pre-sale deal. I paid Keltec direct and they shipped it to my ffl. It's been a great gun. I liked it so much I later bought another one for my wife. Her's has a grey grip and hard chromed slide. They used to make several colors of grips.
  9. Curious @papa61, my P32 is a pretty early one serial <200 where does yours fall? I love mine and have shot it a ton. I hardly ever go anywhere without it!
  10. That sounds kinda like Directive 10-289
  11. and here's a bigger box
  12. What is wrong with people? And there are 9 bids!
  13. We'll run a 12 shooter round. You can shoot in one slot, or you can buy multiple tickets and shoot multiple slots in each round. Winner is determined by who gets a pellet closest to the center. If there is a tie there is a shootoff between them. Each round is judged individually so you can come and shoot in one round or multiple rounds as prizes are awarded per round. Makes it easy. You can come and shoot all day. We have some shooters that do that, then we'll have others that come and only shoot one or two rounds.
  14. Our annual Gen. Robert H. Hatton, Sons of Confederate Veterans Turkey Shoots are planned and everyone is invited to attend for some fun and good eatin' prizes. We'll be at the usual place-- Wilson County Fairgrounds. Use the Peyton Rd. entrance, you cant' miss us. This is a great event with lots of families showing up along with young shooters. One of my fondest memories of childhood is attending turkey shoots with my dad. Come out and make some memories with your son or daughter or grand kids. We'll have turkeys, country hams, and packs of thick sliced bacon as prizes. $5 per shot, ammo provided. All proceeds go toward upkeep of monuments and memorials. We begin around 8am on Saturdays and run until we're out of shooters, probably around noon. On Sunday we'll start at 1pm and go until about 3:30. Any ga. shotgun is allowed. 36" max barrel. Dates: Nov. 14 & 15, Dec. 5

  16. Supposedly rifle primers are thicker or in some way designed to withstand higher pressures than pistol primers. I've never tried switching them around so I have no personal experience.
  17. If they will fit in a Post office flat rate box I'll pay the shipping and your time!
  18. Dang, wish you were closer to Nashville or Knoxville!
  19. I agree on the vitamin D and I added a 5000 to my multi vitamin back in April. With the hot weather during the summer many of us just don't get outside all that much. I plan to keep on taking mainly for the Covid issue.
  20. Any time I get a bit overwhelmed over the news, antifa, rioting etc. I just mosey down to the basement and crank out another 100 M80 .308 and the world is at peace once again.
  21. ... "I pity the fool..."
  22. Just got an email from Classic Arms says they have popular ammo in stock, 223, 308, 9mm, 45acp and both AK ammos. YIKES $$$$. But, if ya ain't got none....
  23. In standard loadings it's really a great cartridge. Accurate, flat shooting and packs a good punch. I use reformed 223 brass so it's about as cheap to load as anything.
  24. Thanks, I used to shoot 120gr and 145gr. I'll see if I can look up the twist and how heavy 7mm bullets come these days.
