  1. I can't think of any county that's going to approve 2 building permits on one tract. Might get away with it if there is an old house already on the property and you can convince them its not going to be used. Usually each dwelling will require a min 50 ft access to a public road even if that access is not actually used for access.
  2. I ordered one of their red dots and seems like it got it two days later. this was last week.
  3. usually no deals, but there might be an unusual item or two that you can't get anywhere else.   Bet they aren't charging an admission fee, so it might be one of the best gun shows around-- no gutter guard booths or jerky salesmen.
  4. PSA is running a daily deal on 16" uppers with 12" free float rail, any opinions on these and or the price?   I've sort of been wanting a mid length gas system gun on a 16" bbl, but was leaning more toward a HBAR weight bbl. This one I guess pretty much does the same thing just has the M4 Style bbl and a carbine length gas system under the rail. I've got BCG and charging handles laying around so that not a big issue.   http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/m4-ss12g2-16-cmv-chrome-lined-stripped-railed-upper-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html?utm_source=Copy+of+Days+of+Christmas+Deals+Start+NOW&utm_campaign=Constant+Contact&utm_medium=email   I've never had a forend like this one, it is smooth with only a rail on the top. I've got a 20" AR with the 4 rail forend and even with covers I still don't like the feel.
  5. And the state parties are the very same
  6. Tarantino really should move out of his mother's basement. I'm sure JB will somehow wear a superhero costume. He might try making a screen version of Guns of the South, that's more his speed.
  7. What's the difference in the 06 and the one on special other than the placement of the emitter?
  8. If it weren't 10 minutes from my house I would have.
  9. I skipped probably the last two of these shows. The last one I attended I landed a great deal on some ammo at the height of the craziness. I mean like ten cents a round for almost a case of 7.62x39 with some 9mm mixed in-- one of those highly unusual right place at the right time deals. Comparing this show to then, it has turned into a mere shadow of what it was, and it wasn't all that good then. The crowd was way down and vendor pickins' were slim with lots of knives and a ton of flashlights. It was pretty poor. Didn't see much changing hands other than a small amount of ammo here and there. Unless there's a fire sale tomorrow it's really not even a good tire kicking event.   I tried to buy a 10/22 that was walking around, but too rich for my blood. Couple of Glock 17s walking around, one pretty nice, average price if you're needing one. Didn't see much milsurp. Just didn't look like the vendors were really doing much of anything, several empty tables.
  10. Not expecting much but I think I'll give it a shot. Have picked up s couple deals in the past.
  11. I ordered a red dot from Primary for $60 incl. The mount looked like a decent deal. 6 bucks to ship
  12. Confession time. A couple years ago I gave my wife a gift of ballroom dancing lessons, actually 2 one beginner and one intermediate. She really loved it. Would have even more had I been anything but flat footed. I'll admit it was fun, but I just sucked at it. The teacher was great and we even went to some dances to try and improve. You should give it a try. Its good ecercise. See if you can find the movie Strictly Ballroom its pretty good.
  13. They disappeared while I was on their site :(
  14. sometimes luxury cars are more of a bargain on the used market than chevys if you compare the original price. They seem to drop like a rock after just a few years.
  15. I looked at one of these today and really liked it. Seemed to me it had a really light trigger for my taste, pretty much a single action. Does anyone else feel this way?
  16. They are tack drivers. I've got a 14" .223 and have taken varmints 125-150 yard range with a good rest. Seems like I chronoed some at around 3000 using a 50 gr. Blitz. Also have a 7mm TCU a necked up .223 and its been very accurate as well. And a .22wmr. I've nailed a bunch of squirrels with head shots. I haven't shot mine much lately but have enjoyed over the years.
  17. Typically gun auctions offer no real deals. However I do find that "junky" or less expensive items bring more often more than you could buy them at the store, but higher end items sometimes go for a good value.
  18. I believe Lebanon gun shop does. Not near Chart. though
  19. got a letter from Blue cross last week telling me my policy was grandfathered in so I could keep it. Still waiting on the letter telling me it's now going to be 2x or 3x higher than before.
  20. good suggestion, certainly my price range. I need one that does infra red that's not visible.
  21. So, do you think it would be possible to elevate the phrase "you can keep your health insurance" and "you can keep your doctor" to the status of such common phrases as... The check is in the mail, or other phrases that everyone knows is a lie?   What a legacy for the Big O to leave with. I think I'm going to try.
  22. Had a Moultrie and it lasted just about 13 months and I hardly ever used it. Was well cared for and now it's kuput. Their customer service sucks. I'm in the market for a new one. Don't want to break the bank but would be nice to have one that worked like a tool.. you know, treat it right and it lasts for a while. (and not a Harbor Freight tool, like the Moultrie)
