I've been looking for scope of this magnification and one with an illuminated reticle. The problem I'm running into is they are all sold for .223 and I'm wanting to put it on a .308. I haven't been able to find one that lists a reticle made for a .308. Wonder how close the Bushnell would be?

I've thought about doing this as well. In what neck of the woods are such classes held?

weedeaters and consumer chainsaws have small carbs and the orifices inside are tiny. It does not take much to stop one up. Certainly the fuel is the main culprit. Seems like gas today can go stale in 30 days. Be careful using either for starting. It will wash down the cylinder walls and on 2cycles there is no oil sump so you'll get a galled cylinder wall and reduced compression. The best thing to use instead of either is WD40. It will run great on it and won't mess anything up. Smokes pretty good, but is a good way to tell if you have a fuel or ignition problem. On repairing the small carbs. Sometimes they are just junk and can't be fixed. They can be replaced, but the cost is probably not worth it. If you want to give it a shot at repair, stop by AutoZone and pick up a gallon can of Berrymans carb cleaner. It's in a paint bucket. Will probably cost you $35, but it will last forever. Only get the Berrymans, not the Gunk brand. Disassemble the carb and drop it in for 24 hours. Take it out and rinse it with hot water then blow out with compressed air. Put it back together and see what happens. Small 2cycle carbs are hit or miss on cleaning this way. For larger carbs Berrymans can be a miracle cleaner. Forget the spray stuff, soaking is the only way to go. Wear gloves, the berryman's smell has to wear off and it takes about 3 days :D

If we used the same formula for "electing" all public servants as we do for these judges we'd be in more of a mess than we are now. This retain replace crap is the anthesis of term limits. As it stands I'm voting against keeping any incumbent in my district.

Keltec is to be coming out with a rifle version of their semi auto 22mag pistol. I've seen photos, it's mainly a tactical looking outfit. -
I'm still waiting for the last season to be released on Netflix

Belt clip for me works good. You could get the slide hard chromed to take care of the rust.

When I got mine I think a box of ammo was more expensive -
It came with lots of good stories as well. A gun I could never part with.

I've always been a Kurt Russell fan. There are some great lines in the movie and some good actors. Casting Al Lewis (Grandpa Munster) as a tobacco chewing hangin' judge is just typical of the depth of thought that went into making it. Nobody has mentioned Deliverance, but it really was a classic and has impacted generations since it's release. I don't guess it would be considered my favorite movie, but certainly is a classic. There really should be a required movie viewing list for younger folks.

I've not reloaded for it. I think I did buy a die set. My uncle owned the gun. He got it when he was a teenager back in the 20s. He shot it quite a bit and was his most cherished gun. I was very honored when he gave it to me. with just open sights 100 yds would probably be about max.

I've got one of the winchester 92s in 25/20. Have shot it a few times. Killed a groundhog with it. Would probably be good for yotes. Have some vintage ammo. Seems like mine shoots high so I never did shoot it a lot.

sometimes the compact size tractor is more expensive than ones a little larger.

Free Rifle Bag with SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace

what have these been going for? Seems like I saw one at a gun show for about $165 when they first came out. -
Electric fence with two runs of wire. One around 6 inches and another at 12 or so.

The Kel-tec definitely. I own a P-11 and have carried it for years. It always goes bang, does not jam and yes the trigger is long but does have the benefit of multiple strikes. Not necessary an all day range gun, but was never meant to be. If I still carried it daily I would put a Northwood (I think thats the brand) trigger in it. I have one in my PF9 and while it's good there, I believe the improvement would be greater in the P-11.

not quite as bad today, I've just turned the ringers off so I don't even hear calls anymore. I couldn't get anything done for hearing it.

The only resolution the phone company could offer was changing my number. Of course that's a real pain not to mention an expense with marketing materials etc. that are out there. I am hoping they will eventually move on to another number or get finished with this area. If we do get to meet, it won't be one they soon forget.

If you own a small business in or around Middle Tn be on the lookout for a telemarketer call wanting to save you money on your credit card processing payment fees. They will call and try to set up a personal visit with their representative in order to go over your account history with the premise of saving you some money. So far it's been mostly home repair type businesses such as small companies who replace windows, do roofing, carpet cleaning, mold mitigation, cleaning or other such type services. This telemarketer has stolen, spoofed, hijacked my business phone number to make these calls, so the caller ID looks like the call originated from my phone. In many cases the call is made and the recipient does not answer, but then later returns the call thinking that they may have missed out on a customer call. Well guess who they call? Me. Over the past two days I have received nearly 400 of these missed call, call backs. It has basically caused a huge denial of service on my end to the extent that we no longer have a business phone that is usable. I have had to route all my calls to voice mail with an explanation of the circumstance. I'm guess this is a complete scam since if it were legit they wouldn't be using my phone number to make this happen. If you have had one of these calls, or get a telemarketing call such as this and can provide details on the originator of same please PM me. I would sure love to arrange an in person interview with their representative. I am working on one lead currently. I have contacted my phone carrier and they really have zero ability to fix this. Apparently it is fairly easy these days to make calls and use someone else's phone number for the caller ID.

AAC Evolution for $306
seez52 replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
looks like it's other models as well. -
The smaller lots, amounts that I could deal with, always seem to get priced too high for making any money for the labor involved. I've been following these for quite some time and can't figure who's buying this stuff for the price they pay and what are they doing with it. Wondering if its getting purchased by ammo remanfacturers?

Wonder if it could be classified as an arm brace on a AK pistol?

Welcome to the area! I believe The Gun Room is the name of the indoor range here in Lebanon.
