  1. I picked up some .308 at Lebanon wally, but they were out of other cals. Still had plenty of 308 when I left. I asked about some mini mags, said they had gotten some in on Wed but out now.
  2. Oh for the days of Ponderosa.
  3. ive got a coffee can full but haven fooled with them since they have crimped primers, though I would like to.
  4. they offer a conversion kit that includes a pistol grip and buffer tube stock and made a few with the buffer tube as a standard option. While all of the su16s fold up only one model, the C or charlie model folds and can still be fired when folded. The thing I did't like about it was the stock seemed somewhat flimsy and does flex. Kinda thought with a folding buffer tube stock I'd get the compact size, sturdy stock and still be able to fire when folded. Not sure yet if I would like it or not
  5. actually I was considering putting one on a Keltec su16 that has a buffer tube stock
  6. I don't, but have a guy that I use and he does excellent work. Probably not the cheapest, but you can give him a punch list and rest assured it will be done. PM if you're interested in his contact info.
  7. do you think the wobble on the UTG folding mechanism is just due to the design and general poor quality of Chinese stuff? The other options end up getting close to a hundred bucks so $25 is attractive.
  8. best deal I have found was picking some up at the creek. Its coming up next month. Still pricey.
  9. my nephew has one, think  he paid around $35 and it is impressive for the money.
  10. when are they reshowing it?
  11. Is it always the same two chambers that stick?
  12. kinda stupid.   If they really want to push it they should develop a skit making fun of mohammad in some way. Maybe an art school scene where their only teaching is how to draw mohammad cartoons. now that would be funny.
  13. what kind of condition is the tree in? may sound like a dumb question but they can be expensive to trim or remove should it become necessary and whoever owns it gets to pay.
  14. No not a member. I just fool around on my own. Used to take tons of photos before digital but have sort of gone in other directions since.
  15. I'm still using my D80, it's been a great camera. It's a bit on the heavy side, but helps to keep me from shaking!! this is from a trip out to Utah
  16. I'm not sure the lenses will work. The pro-consumer cameras like the D7100 are not full size sensor cameras. Meaning the sensor is smaller than a 35mm frame. Plus the new lenses would have benefits such as motion stability and are designed to work with the digital bodies. I know there is a way to make older lenses work with some of the Canon digital bodies as I have a friend who did this, but I'm not sure what's necessary on Nikons.   The biggest difference you'll notice is that it's hard to get a truly wide angle lens like you may be accustomed to on a film camera. Most of the consurmer slr you'll need to multiply the focal length by 1.6 to get the comparable 35mm. I miss that the most when moving to digital. I moved to all Nikon when switching to digital and it's worked out nicely. You'll find with the automatic focus etc. that you'll get to spend more time on composition. I also somewhat miss the depth of field usage that film cameras offered. Digital is a bit harder since most lenses are 3.5 and larger. I do have a 1.4 lens for my Nikon digital, but have actually used it very little. It's a straight 50mm, or 75mm equivalent in 35mm cameras. When you get used to the zooms they really are hard to put down.   The kit lenses are not all that good. You might consider buying a body and choose one of their higher grade lenses separately.
  17. Very nice
  18. Just imagine the possibilities   http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?id=9061205&tid=GLSPPT3549&cm_mmc=Email-_-ia9843-_-2015-02-16-_-9843_5851&utm_campaign=gl%20-%20ia9843.html&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Eloqua   Says they are 270 inches long and have to be torch cut into three pieces, I think you could still make a pretty nice BP cannon out of one.
  19. open the cabinet doors on any faucet thats on an outside wall.
  20. I just spoke with the American Ballistics folks. They're phone is going straight to voice mail due to a heavy call volume. Left a message and they called me right back. They do still have both loaded and component M855. Tips are .12 each/K, loaded is $400/K. The guy on the phone was nice and feels as many of us do here regarding all this BS and about those who might be buying to resell and jack up. They are in GA so shipping is reasonable and though they have a ton of orders they are still getting stuff out pretty quick.
  21. A love that was lost... Years ago, decades actually the place I worked for had a 4" nickle Python that was brand new from the Colt custom shop. It was the best looking revolver I believe I ever saw, and at the time I was not a nickle finish fan, but it was unbelievably gorgeous.. It had the smoothest buttery trigger of any double action I have ever felt. Man I wanted that gun, but it was just out of my price range, she was just in a different class. I have thought about that Python often and dreamed about what might have been.
  22. that was fast
  23. using the word "rare" in any ad is always a dead give away, you'd better watch your wallet
  24. Why do they exempt the 06 ammo. I've seen it so some pretty wicked stuff.
