You can make the call all you want, but it's not worth it to make a big deal and call out the manager. That makes us all look bad. Think, "Is it worth loosing my permit for?" Is it worth having to hire a lawyer and go to court??

I think the newer rifles with sn beginning with 580- are suppose to be more accurate. Not that the mini was intended to be a bench rest rifle, but it should be good enough for ranch varmints. The biggest complaint I've heard about the older ones was accuracy. I've been thinking about selling mine. Since I built an AR, that's about all we shoot, besides handguns.

M1 thumb. Ouch, that brings back painful memories. Bloody too. I would do a complete dissassemble, clean, lube, and reassemble.
