you will love that rifle. i would also throw in a +1 for M14TFL.com i spend as much time there as any other site. as a side note, how do you get in touch with the TNNG AMU? they still do that sort of thing? i am also trying to ask around to some of the shooters in Group at Ft. campbell. the civilain SRT sharpshooter has a M1A NM that he shoots regularly.

have been thinking about sourcing a CTD for a swap when it gets closer to my v6 dieing in my ram.

diesel would be good if you have a storage tank for it. could use the same for farm tractors and trucks also.

another easy way to store water is to reuse 2L soda bottles. i drink a decent amount of soda, i know its bad for you, but i refill all my 2L bottles with tap water. then add a few drops of chlorine bleach to it. these can be stored literally anywhere. i have shelves of them out in the garage. threw a few under the sofa and beds etc... it adds up very quickly.

Discussion on posted restaurants

Blackhorse Saloon in downtown Clarksville does not allow carry. not sure if its the official sign or whatnot. all it has is a small sticker with a pistol in the red crossed circle. not really sure if thats the official/legal way to post? -

people never cease to amaze me. what happened to personal responsibility?

that stock should do well for you then. the barrels are usually the same diameter at the receiver and the contour varies from there on out.
-
as far as i know, most stocks will be described as a BDL or ADL based on how it is inletted for the bottom metal. if you look at the pics, the barrel is floated and there is enough clearance to fit any barrel. i personally think that there are much better options for the almost 600 price tag. what specifically are you looking at this stock for? not downing your choice but jst checking out which options you like about it?

2nd amendment rights concerning dogs
broylz replied to BenS's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
if the dog is a serious threat to you or your family then its fair to assume that you are ok to shoot it. its a bit different if its attacking your dog as your dog should be on a leash also if you expect his to be. if your dog is in their property and gets attacked by their dog like you asked then its your fault for letting your dog out of your control. as far as dogs are concerned, i hope that you dont take this out on big dogs in the future. there is no such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners. i have a couple of shutzhund trained german shepherds as well and they are the biggest babies unless my wife is being assaulted. thats the way they are trained. i hope you are able to resolve these issues without killing a dog. try talking to the neighbors as mentioned above and then call the animal control to make formal complaints.it sounds like the new neighbor has their dog a bit better trained and under control so hopefully you wont have these issues in the future. -
welcome from another noob.

i just bought a truck from my dad and the sale price on the title was 100bucks. the lady questioned it but saw the seller was my dad. didnt think twice about it after that. didnt need an affidavit or anything of that sort. edited to add: i am also in the military so i didnt have to pay the tax anyway. maybe that has more to do with it in my situation.

ive probably talked to you before if you are a RSO. i was trying to get out there to be one also but got stuck working friday through monday for the last couple months. gonna try again as soon as my schedule changes back around.

i store my pistol rounds in a disposable tupperware container. they hold about 500 rounds a piece, maybe more. i started using throw away ammo boxes and wrote the loads on the box. now i know what i am loading and dont really change it much. i do write my load on the plastic container. for more than that, i store them in blastic bags in a 7.62 ammo can. rifle rounds get plastic factory carriers for match rounds. dont do those too much anymore. surplus type reloads just go in a good ammo can.

i shoot out a MCSC occasionally. i think it would be easier to just try to get a shooting day set up.
