I met hickok at Knob Creek a couple of years ago, he had his son with him. I'll echo what everybody else has said, great guy!

Soooo. Funny (if aggravating) story I wanna share with you guys. As some of you may know, Chattanooga lies right on the eastern time zone line of the state. Anything west of here is central time. So I was in Jasper yesterday at my brother's house visiting and my phone switched to central time. Even though its only a roughly 25 minute car ride, it still goes into the central time zone. So I come home with plans to go hunting this morning, so I set the alarm on my phone for 4 am. Well it went off at 4 am alright, but 4 am central, 5 eastern! My phone did not switch back to my time zone! I got up this morning, turned off my alarm, took a shower, brushed teeth, etc. and was loading my truck up before I noticed it! I looked at the sky and thought to myself "It's awfully light outside for 4:30 am. Thats because it was 5:30 am. I scrapped my hunting plans for the morning seeing as how it wouldve been around 730 am before I got set up. Ugh. Needless to say I set my phone to where it stays on my time zone now, and will not go back and forth on its own!!

What adds to his appeal is that he made the shot holding the reins to two horses. I dont know if he was actually mounted or not when he made that shot though.

I am going to check the dip tube Wednesday. At this point it would just about have to be the problem. I know its cold out now but its never done this before. Last time I drained the tank, I had some sediment clog my drain valve on bottom of the tank. How would I go about clearing out the clog there?

thats what im thinking. we plan on selling and moving next summer so a new hot water heater may be a small helpful selling point anyway

Like I said by all counts it should be working perfectly, but it is not and I have no clue why Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah everything has been replaced and everything is getting power. They are alternating power like they should.when the top element is on the bottom is off and when the bottom clicks on the top one goes off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I've been researching new hot water heaters and each one has a year in the name i.e. "GE 6 yr hot water heater". Is this the expected lifespan of them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My step dad said the same thing. When I replaced the elements and pulled the lower one out, I stuck my finger in the and couldnt feel a buildup of anything.

...I have em. Our hot water doesnt last long now. It still gets hot, just doesnt last as long as it should. After one person takes a shower its pretty much out. I went to lowes and bought a hot water heater "tune up" kit that included two new heating elements and two new thermostats but im still having the problem. I dont believe it could be a power problem either cause I'm getting 240v coming in to the top thermostat, and the thermostats are alternating on/off like they should. By all counts it should be fine, but it's not. Any other ideas? What else COULD it be?

another summit viper sd owner here. I love it! It's very comfortable and not too heavy (21 lbs iirc)

So I finally traded my 243 WSSM for something more common (30-06). I had forgot a few days before I traded it I had sent Winchester an email asking about this cartridge. They emailed me back today and this is their response. Figured I would post this for the other guys that shoot this caliber and are wondering where all the ammo is at.
