Ahh you guys are still in the denial stage....haha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

....there I said it. Before you guys get the wrong idea about me, first let me explain. Im a gun addict! I want to mod my Tundra so bad with lift/wheels/tires, exhaust, etc. the problem is I cant quit buying guns, ammo, weapon mods, and all that good stuff when I get any money saved up/disposable income! I automatically think "more ammo" or "more guns", and here is my Tundra over here begging to be lifted. Its like a sickness, this gun crap. Oh well, the first part of getting over it is recognizing the problem....right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anybody else still have this problem? I still get an error message when I hit post telling me to pick a topic prefix, which I cant do from tapatalk? Is this an issue on their end or ours? Man it sure would be nice to post an ad from the convenience of my phone!

CZ Scorpion Evo S1 Pistol Project
reed1285 replied to jmevis's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
any updates jmevis? this will probably be my next SBR project. Ive always wanted a submachine gun style 9mm sbr. Ive looked at the Sig MPX, as well as the HK mp5 clones. A couple of websites have the stock/compliance kit up for preorder, so it shouldnt be too much longer. Cant wait to see yours all done! One more thing, since the firearm is pretty much all polymer, how do you plan to handle the engraving and in what location? Thanks. -

What is the ATF doing down there???
reed1285 replied to WarPig's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
When people found out that it was, keyword WAS, only taking a matter of a month or two to get an e-filed stamp approved, it caused a big influx of trusts being started and e-files being submitted. -
Nice ride David, what hp numbers do they claim out of that hemi? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do these make me cringe so hard. This is now a cringe thread.

Well I FINALLY got to go shoot the beast today. It is an absolute blast to shoot. Speaking of blast....oh man. The muzzle blast and concussion you get from the 10.5" barrel and YHM muzzle brake on this thing is insane! Even in broad daylight I was seeing intense fireballs. After I got the slr gas block adjusted, I didnt have a single malfunction. I shot both standard 223 and XM193 out of it today, and figured out where the gas block needs to be for each. Extremely high praises go to SLR for the gas block! Dont even get me started on the Geissele SD3G trigger either. As per pretty much every review I've read on it, it really is like pulling a trigger on the smoothest ball bearings around, with no break at all. Needless to say I am 100% happy with the build and can see myself going through a LOT of 5.56 ammo with this thing. I only shot around 120 rounds today, and ended up wishing I had brought more. I got the Eotech sighted in at 50 yards, and am perfectly happy with the accuracy the gun has. I think for a 10.5" barrel and XM193, it did fine. It is an SBR after all, not a precision rifle. Hats off to your build as well! Top notch

thanks Warpig.I went with the SLR keymod handguard because of two reasons. It was one of the lightest handguards I could find, and I was using SLR's gas block, and wanted guaranteed fitment. The fact that it is a keymod is just by coincidence. I highly doubt I will ever put anything on it, and if I do, it will be a surefire weapon light.

finally got ahold of a CMT bcg from a fellow member on here. Going to shoot this thing hopefully this week. Cant wait to get the gas system set. That and the SD3G paired together should make it a blast to shoot.

Go for it man! You wont regret it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Traveling across state lines with NFA items?
reed1285 replied to Luke E.'s topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Bumping this one up, good info here. I was looking for info pertaining to traveling with my sbr and this thread answered a lot of questions. Im glad I came upon this because I will be going to Paducah soon and thought the only thing I needed to do was carry a copy of my stamp with me if I took my sbr. So I will need to take my returned form 20 and a copy of my stamp? Copies are ok right? Thanks for any info. -

Thanks guys. Its been a long time coming, so glad to be done with it. I will probably just throw my BCM bcg from another ar of mine in this rifle until CMT bcg's get back in stock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After having the stamp for almost a year, I finally, FINALLY got my first sbr build done. I got derailed from this build several times by house renovations and various other life events. All I need now is a CMT bcg. I forgot to put the charging handle in the rifle before I took the pictures as well. Oh well, you guys get the idea. As you can see, this is my TGO lower set that we have had for what, almost 2 years now? Parts used are: VLTOR imod stock kit CMMG lower build kit w/o fcg Geissele sd3g trigger Tango down bg-17 grip (love it) SLR Rifleworks 10" solo ultra lite hg SLR Rifleworks sentry 7 adjustable gas block Rainier Arms 10.5" select 5.56 barrel Eotech xps2 Im sure some of you notice the YHM Phantom QD muzzle brake on the end of the barrel. Just a hint of things to come shortly! Needless to say I cant WAIT to shoot it and get the gas block tuned. This thing should run like a sewing machine. Anyways on to the pics. Sorry for the lack luster cell phone pics. Im by no means a photographer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just watched the press conference Obama did on this. Not even a day later and he is already talking about gun control, talk about being insensitive. I guess we should prepare for another :poop: -storm.

Picked this one up from a friend, who is actually a member on here but rarely signs on, for a deal I couldnt turn down. Its a ZT0550. The scales were already on the knife when I bought it from my friend. I really like it so far, I have a ZT0350 also and can already tell I like the Hinderer designed blade on this one better. Anyways here it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
