  1. Big brother and little brother lol, i love family portraits I guess im still one of the lucky few that get bonuses. Its rare, but it does happen from time to time, thanks for the comments
  2. Yeah its definately on the list mike, along with the conversion. Maybe somebody will have an md arms drum in stock by then
  3. Got a bonus from work, this is the result. I cant think of a better way to spend it! What is it about loading a magazine with 12g buckshot that makes you feel....all warm and fuzzy inside?
  4. Sell it and buy a couple rugers Better yet, ill take that junky thing off your hands
  5. ive bought some stuff from dsa before. have never had a problem with any of it, and were always quick on shipping. but ive never bought a whole gun from them before, just ar parts.
  6. Where do you get your seeds from on the ghost pepper?
  7. yeah i went today too. i agree that the ammo was overpriced. a box of xm193 55gr 5.56 was 9 bucks. I get it on a biweekly basis for 8 bucks a box at a store here in town. nonetheless tho not a real bad show. they had a socom 16 m1a i wouldve loved to have. i picked up a charging handle for my new ar build for 15 bucks (used) and a 50 cal ammo can for my 7.62x39 rounds for 10 bucks. oh i also was tempted by a new ruger sr22 for 315 bucks. I didnt know what they are currently going for so i passed in fear i might get ripped off.
  8. Im hoping i can find a few ak parts i need, and an ar charging handle
  9. Oops i forgot about this forum when i accidently posted the same thing in general chat. Sorry mods! Anyways rip to a true american icon.
  10. A true american idol lost. Apparently he passed yesterday but i didnt find out till today. Really a bummer
  11. Just giving everyone a heads up. The last one that was there was a pretty decent show (back in May I think). Picked up a few pmags for 11 bucks a pop.
  12. that looks awesome!
  13. I was raised in a small town environment where everybody knows everybody and some sort of respect still existed. Im not saying there arent any rude people in TN. But if you ask me there are far more up here in yankeeland. Cant wait to get home. I talked with a Nebraska woman yesterday, who had only been to the south one time in her life and loved it. The reason she said was the people and the whole "southern hospitality" thing that doesnt even partly exist in her neck of the woods. What got the whole conversation started was my thick TN accent and i called her mam.
  14. Am I the only one that gets bothered by people who dont even acknowledge you when you say thank you? Im in ohio for work and just now was leaving a restaurant after eating and as i was walking out an older (not old) couple was walking in. The man held the door open as i walked out and as i passed i said "thank you sir" to which he didnt even look at me in return. He just let go of the door and walked in. Its small stuff like that that really gets to me for some reason. Thank the good lord im coming home to good ol tennessee southern hospitality tomorrow. Im reminded why i hate coming up north every single time i have to. Rant over

    How often...

To hear the guys over at ar15.com talk about it, most of them say every 1000 rnds or so. They say ar's can be troublesome if overcleaned. Idk how, thats just what i read over there. Personally i clean mine about every 200-300 rnds
  16. I wish the days of good tv like the andy griffith show were still around, instead of the crap we get nowadays. Im 26 and would watch Andy Griffith show reruns over Jersey whatever-the-crap-it-is anyday. RIP
  17. Looks good man!
  18. I agree that the last couple years have not been all that great for new movies. Save for transformers dark of the moon, and a couple more. Ill add one to the list, the new resident evil 5 that comes out in september. Im a hugeeee RE fan and really looking fwd to it.
  19. is it the norm for there to be extra parts in ar LPK's? I just finished assembling a lower and have an extra takedown pin spring and detent for it. has me worried i might of left something out, which is a possibility cause this is just the third one ive done. to my knowledge the only thing those size springs and detents are used for are the two takedown pins right? thanks
  20. mmmm....salted pork, im in lol
  21. awesome, thanks for sharing
  22. thanks for the heads up on this, i joined gearhog and got my voucher, got a spikes tactical lpk for my current build for 43 bucks shipped
  23. I usually buy the junior johnson moonshine they sell at liquor stores. Not as strong as the real stuff but the apple pie flavor is great. Will have to check this place out, where at in Gatlinburg?
  24. I want one bad. But dont wanna sacrifice half my collection to get one lol. Maybe next tax season. Let us know if u make the jump to get one, pics will be required!
  25. sound like your local LE could be doing more than what they are to me, as if they are just trying to shrug it off. I had a PO actually tell me once that domestic cases where a waste of their time, because they had "more Important things to worry about than neighbors gettin on each others' nerves". Im with Dolomite on this one, even though Ive never dealt with the EPA, Ive heard they take there stuff very seriously, so maybe look into that. Anybody who will actually take time to make problems for the elderly like these people arent worth a penny in my book. I wouldnt p### on em to put em out if they were on fire. Ive dealt with bad neighbors before, but not quite this bad. Again good luck with everything.
