    Ruger SR9c

I have one as well, probably about 6 or 700 rounds on it. I use it as my carry gun with hornady critical defense rounds. I dont have many handguns, but of the ones i have its my favorite shooter. Never had a problem out of it and accuracy is good too. Enjoy it
  2. Palmer on whitwell mountain, particularly a place called "the pocket" on whitwell mountain. Its a pretty secluded place. Used to be back in the day strangers weren't welcome but as everywhere else in the last decade or two, its changed.
  3. Clinton enforced an assault weapons ban didnt he?
  4. Nice! Here is a short vid of me shooting the F2000.
  5. If you do get a 512 buy one off ebay. They can be had on there all day for $ 375 with most offering free shipping.
  6. Me and my buddy just left from there. Had an awesome time, got to shoot an FN F2000. Also got to meet hickok which was pretty cool. Definately will be back
  7. http://www.hendersondefense.com/store/pc/AK47-80-Blank-Receiver-16p362.htm I just ordered one of these. They go fast when they have them in stock. Rails already welded in.
  8. im going, this will be my first year. really looking fwd to it. the tgo members that are going need to meet up somehow, dont know how that could be accomplished though
  9. yeah if you notice in the bottom left corner of our tank is a live plant, we have to have a specific light for it so it will grow well. Something to do with the broad spectrum range of the light or something. I dont know, I just went in and saw it was the light I needed for live plants and bought it. Its working great too because between that light, and the plant food I put in once a week, its growing pretty fast. But yeah with those kind of lights your tank is more prone to algae problems. I clean ours once a month so havent ran into too bad of a problem with that. Im really looking forward to starting a bigger one. I think the biggest I may go is about a 55 gal, MAYBE a 75 gallon. All these guys saying they have tanks post up some pics!
  10. ^ i need pics!
  11. This is our aquarium i keep for my 2 and a half year old daughter. Its a 36 gallon. Didn't want to go all out with a 50 or 55 gallon right now because this is our first larger scale aquarium. For fish right now all we have are platys. They are a colorful and active swimming tropical fish. They are also pretty hardy. I guess I'm keeping the aquarium up ok because they have yielded us two sets of baby fish, and they supposedly will only mate in optimum conditions. I look at it as free fish. They are a lot of fun to watch and my daughter loves them. She tells them goodnight every night before bed lol. Right now the tank is in her bedroom but when we buy her a new bedroom set before too long we are gonna move it into our living room for all to see. I think when we upgrade in a couple years or so I'm gonna get a 50 or 55 gallon and put a school of tiger cichlids in it.
  12. Ive searched the internet with no luck. How would one go about ordering one of these? Or at least putting there name in the pot for one? What company is actually gonna distribute and sell them? The more I look at one, the more I want one. I was gonna go with an FS2000 as my first bullpup, but know im thinking this one is it. It will be after the first of the year before I can purchase, but the guy who actually went to the bullpup shoot and got to fondle one, said the rep was talking about how it was pushed back to March. So it works out anyway. Like I said I just want to put my name in the pot, buy dont know where to start. Thanks All this is pending price of course, but the other thread said they were gonna run $1999. Which is about $200 more than an FS200 after transfer and background fees. Ive got about half of it saved up so far.
  13. Know the feeling, my wife had her ipod stolen out of her car that i bought her for her birthday 2 yrs ago. I remedied the situation a lot by ALWAYS making sure i have nothing of value in my vehicle at the end of the day. My wife does the same now. So if somebody decides to break into one of our vehicles they will get nothing.
  14. Did you see fpsrussia guy there, nice rifle also. Really makes me wanna dig deep in my pockets
  15. Nice, what range was that? One here in Chattanooga?

    beer snobs

I like my good ol Woodchuck pretty well. Hasnt let me down yet.
  17. So i guess the $30 an hour that shooters depot in Chattanooga charges isnt very reasonable
  18. i think i got mistaken as one of the guys that cleans his rifle religiously after a mag or two. not that there is anything wrong with that. Its your rifle, to each his own. I personally think the guys that do clean after every shooting session arent hurting anything. I would have to see some kind of physical evidence that its hurting the rifle in order to believe it, i.e. accuracy problems or whatever overcleaning may cause. Not saying it doesnt exist, I just havent seen the proof personally. I clean the bore on my ar after about 5 or 600 rounds, and out of all honesty, its mainly because of laziness lol, and like dolomite said, i never really clean the bore on any of my .22's. I know the importance of not overcleaning, just when I do decide to sit down and do it, I want to make sure I do it right.
  19. I have one haha, look a few threads down at the one titled "what better way to spend bonus money", it probably wont be converted till after the first of the year though Thanks for the nice comments
  20. Thanks! Im really proud of it. Starting another is really tempting lol
  21. About a year ago, I bought my saiga 7.62. It arrived looking like this. Then, after a few months. I did the basic conversion. Which turned it into this. And just today, about 30 mns ago to be exact, I finished up my rifle by doing a front end conversion using an authentic izmash gas tube, CSS lower handguard retainer, and an Arsenal handguard set, which transformed it to this. So im glad to finally say Im 100% done with it. Kinda sad though, I really enjoyed working on it. HMMM, maybe ill start another!!
  22. Thought this was the best place for this. Im just curious as to how each of you clean the bores on your firearms, what products you use and your methods. I usually dip a bronze brush in hoppes #9 then run it through the bore a couple times to loosen all the grit and residual stuff in there. Then i have dedicated cotton brushes i use for hoppes as well. Run them through there a couple times. End with a few patches soaked in rem-oil. This method works pretty well I've found out, just go through a lot of hoppes though. Im a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning my firearms so i may be overkilling it. I have some friends that just use boresnakes on their firearms. They seem to do a good job, is that all a bore really needs is just a boresnake ran through it from time to time? I own a couple but still find myself using the good ol brushes and patches mostly.
  23. Like others, ive had one every year for the past few and have never had any problems
  24. What brand drum you using red? I heard the promag drums can be a pain for the saiga 12
