  1. Chucky standing guard huh? Nice reloading setup
  2. maybe we should just make this "the official tgo meet and greet annual" at spots place lol
  3.   no problem at all     good deal, we will have a car full spots lol
  4. lester and sl1k, I would like to go as well, maybe all 3 of us can carpool. My wife has a midsize suv, and I may possibly even have a 4door truck by then
  5. true, id say some people out there bought a stock saiga just for one of these stocks too, as they are pretty awesome. i wonder if they are compatible with drums
  6. those are nice, i considered getting one for my s12, but decided to do a regular conversion instead. it sucks they can only be used with unconverted saiga's. I will definitely want to see pics once installed, im suprised there isnt a huge backorder on these right now, like everything else firearm related
  7. Yeah thats what academy at hamilton place is doing, popular calibers behind the cs counter, 1 box per caliber, 3 boxes per visit
  8. Academy at hamilton place had a few boxes of independence brand 55gr xm193, 1 box per customer. Also had 9mm, 40, and 45 defense ammo, SW had 45 and 357 mag and thats about it
  9. Once again im too late...
  10. Tlrmade, gun is looking awesome. Get that forend converted now and itll be complete. Also did your barrel end up being threaded on the end? Still dont know if mine is or not, also, how did you remove the shroud on the end of the barrel?
  11. I was thinking about that the other day myself. You go to a third world country, and you see fully automatic ak's piled up everywhere, everybody has one. Everywhere you turn there is an automatic ak. If they only knew people here in the US pay around 20k for an automic ak. Imagine if our ruger 10/22's were for some reason banned or highly regulated in another country, and they were selling for 20k. Back on topic though, im a huge ak guy (one of my faves) so i believe if i had the money, id "invest" in this one lol
  12. Heads up, just left the wm in redbank with a brick of gold, aka 22lr bulk pack. From what i could see they had 2 more. Plus they had about 6 or 7 100 rnd packs of winchester brass cased 7.62x39
  13. Definitely jealous my friend
  14. yeah the guy at the counter said it was going out the door just as quick as they were putting it on the shelves. I asked when the last time they had xm193's on the shelf and he laughed at me. said it was gonna be awhile for those
  15. What a nice thought
  16. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=61d_1358554064   ....are not helping out our situation any. What was this guy thinking?! ESPECIALLY in these current panicked stricken times. I mean come on  man, use your brain.
  17. Stopped by the wm in tiftinia yesterday about noon and bought 5 boxes of 00 buck to play around with. They had plenty of 12ga, just no 100 round value packs, only 20ga in those. Pretty much no other ammo and the lady told me they couldnt put in ammo orders right now. Went to gt's first and their shelves were the barest ive ever seen them. Ive never before went into gt's to buy some buckshot and there not be any, but there wasnt yesterday. They were almost as bad as walmarts ammo supply has been. Again this was yesterday at about noon.
  18. Ctr will never get a single dime from me again, maybe nobody will buy from them and they will go bankrupt.......hey I can dream
  19.   I was in there like 2 days ago to check and they were picked clean, guess ill try again
  20. Thanks for the info sl1k... Ill have to stop by the wm in tiftinia next time i go to jasper to get some 12ga
  21. I know right, 2 calibers i thought id always be able to find....12ga and 22lr, are scarce right now as well. ESPECIALLY, those 100 rnd value packs of 12ga birdshot walmart used to sell. I have not had a single bit of luck at any walmart for the last month or so that all this has been going on. Best bets usually are SW, Shooters Depot, and sometimes Academy
  22. Just a heads up to my fellow Chattanoogans. Was in Sportsmans today and they had 40 s&w. They had 45acp, 380 and a few other calibers. they are now keeping all the popular ammo behind the counter so you have to ask for it. Still no 9mm or 22lr though.   Also I was pleasantly surprised when I went in Shooters Depot off Shallowford Rd. They had quite a bit of ammo, in all calibers, at reasonable prices, inflated a little but not as much as alot of places right now. I gave $17 for a box of 50 PMC 9MM. I went and spent about 30-45 mns on the range and when I came back out they had sold about 5 more boxes, so its going quick but they had a pretty good stack.
  23. Thats why i said its scary
  24. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/15/16515653-new-york-passes-major-gun-control-law-first-since-newtown-massacre?lite Scary stuff
