Not much that I can add that hasnt already been said. We bought a house this time last year, just as the rates were starting to climb up from the high 3's into the low 4's. We had 18% down and still had to pay pmi for a year (it just recently dropped off). I pay extra on our mortgage every month so that helped us get to where we needed to be. Our realtor told us the "magic mark" for conventional 30 year home loans is a 20% or more down payment. Anything under that (even our 18%) is subject to pmi. Ridiculous I know

I recently noticed that I have not seen anything regarding this for this year, and December is knocking! I do not get a chance to sign on much like I used to, so if I missed the post my apologies. So I'm playing the waiting game again. Waiting on some of the new form 23s to come in. The responsible person questionnaire. I found the downloadable form online, but my printer wont duplex print, and to my knowledge the ATF will not accept single sided forms?

Hmm back when I filed a previous form 1 as an individual a couple years ago I was under the impression the ATF had specific fingerprint cards they wanted you to use? Like it had to be THEIR cards.

Thats what I was thinking as well. If I ordered the stock kit as soon as it came available and had it shipped to my brothers house, and stored it there until my stamp came in, would I be in violation then? I really want to get one as soon as they come available again to make sure I have it when I get approved. I obviously dont want to break any laws though.

Went out yesterday "looking at guns" and came home with this. Been wanting one for a long time for the sole purpose to SBR. Sportsmans Warehouse in Chattanooga had one and here we are now. We all know whats next: let the wait begin. The real trouble is going to be finding a CZ stock kit for it I believe. Time to join all the email notification lists I guess! I didnt really know what section to put this in, so I stuck it here. Sorry if its in the wrong place. I am in the process of making an empty casing display for my home office. The calibers I shoot obviously I have. These include 9mm, 40, 45, 30-06, and 5.56. I am asking for my fellow TGO members to send me anything otherwise to help me put together a wide range of calibers. I would be particularly interested in any unusual, not so often seen calibers. Also large bore stuff. Just pop in in an envelope and send it my way! I will pm my address to anybody willing to help me out. Ive seen people in the past ask for this same favor, and figure I'd give it a shot!   I am more than willing to compensate anybody who maybe has any casings of the rare/large bore variety that might be worth a few bucks or so, and is willing to give one up. Thanks for reading, I hope you guys can help me put this display together and TIA!

Man, it feels like I havent logged into TGO in a year! Really though its only been 3 months. Between college, family, and work I truly dont know whether I'm coming or going sometimes! Anyways I just wanted to drop in and share some good news with my fellow TGO'ers. The news that the wife and myself are expecting our 2nd addition to the family in July! Our 6 year old daughter is ecstatic about it, but has already declared she WILL NOT be changing any diapers. Lol, hope everybody is doing well!
