  1. This guy, John Neeman, really knows his stuff. Im usually not into this kind of stuff, but I found watching this 13 minute video mesmerizing. My attention span usually only spreads to 4-5 mns for online videos, but once I started watching this, i couldn't quit watching. The ax he makes in the video is pretty awesome. Like I said its 13 minutes long but a good video of a true bladesmith doing fine work.    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=216_1368998549
  2. I pm'ed you back tdr. It will let me respond to existing pm's, just not start new ones like LJ said
  3. When i try to pm somebody and i push send i get the error message that says "this server has not activated tapatalk" or something like that
  4. Anybody else having an issue with it? Any fixes?
  5. if i buy one it will probably be a garrett ace 250. Those seem to be one of the better entry level detectors from the little bit of research ive done on it
  6. Ive been seriously thinking about getting into this hobby while the gun market settles down. Ive got a bunch of different places i could search, for instance my families 70 acres. That would keep me busy for awhile lol
  7. This is my boy Wrangler. A 7yr old registered/pedigreed blue American Staffordshire Terrier. HE IS NOT A "Pitbull"!!!! That irritates me to hell when somebody see's him for the first time and says "good looking pit". American Pitbull terriers are ukc registered, where amstaffs are akc registered. And amstaffs have a milder temperament, while keeping that "die for their family" guard dog mentality. He shares the house with my wifes silky terrier, and a cat. He has never harmed either one in any way. He is by far the best dog ive ever owned.
  8. keltec pmr 30, just waiting for prices to come down more, also a tavor
  9. ill have to check these guys out. never been there before, we are really close to downtown so if we want a sit down pizza place, we usually end up at mellow mushroom. thanks for bringing this to light. also, reheat in oven, or cold. im down either way. depends on how hungry i am i guess lol. Mellow mushroom is posted ! That's blasphemy that you eat there! NYPD is good the catch is they only sell very large pizzas but they sell calzones too. It's pretty good. My favorite pizza reheated or fresh is still godfathers... I wish they would open more stores. Wholefoods in chatt does awesome brick oven pizzas. That's my 2nd choice. I'm the odd man out in this thread I cannot eat cold pizza. Wholefoods on North Shore? Where is Godfathers?

  13. So i replaced the vortex strikefire on one of my ar's today with a nikon p223 3x32, and a set of burris xtr 1" rings. Looking forward to getting it zeroed. I wasnt for sure at first wether or not i would like the p223, but now that its mounted i feel a little bit better about it lol. I guess the real test will be when i take it out to the range. So now i have a strikefire layin around. Time for a new build!
  14. If my memory serves me right, the family hit it on their way out of the woods from a camping trip correct?
  15. If i was gonna build an sd, id have to copy cat cartel's build. Cartel, im sorry man lol. I love the aics stocks for the remington 700. Especially on the sd's. IMO the best looking stock out there for that gun. Looks very comfortable. Pretty pricy though, i think the stocks cost more than the gun brand new. However you build though, build it to your own liking, and know you have a fine rifle regardless!
  16. Strikefire is a great optic in my opinion. I have the red dot only version and its great. Held zero so far perfectly.
  17. I have an xdm 40 and love it. Out of about 400 rounds not a single malfunction of any kind. Its been 100% reliable.
  18. That is very awesome. Im jealous of that one!
  19. No i bought 9mm, i hope i never have to pay $800 for a case of 9's. id start playing more golf.
