Im on my home from there now, it was my first year going, and i loved it. Will definitely be back. Got to meet R Lee Ermey, he signed a SOG hat for me, so that was awesome, and i brought a new edc knife home, a benchmade mini griptilian.

I just got back, ammo is still stupid. There was a guy there selling federal 223 100rnd pack (the same one walmart sells) for $90. Plenty of pmags to be had for $18-25. Also plenty of lpk's for around $75. Good news is alot of the overpriced stuff wasnt moving very fast. Maybe by the time they roll back around to Chattanooga itll be normal. By normal i mean "gun show normal" Actual firearms prices were pretty reasonable i thought. I almost came home with a sig mosquito.

There is one manufacturer who has a license from hk to produce an mp5 airsoft gun. Its the closest thing to an exact replica as you can get. Its made of metal, and blowback operated. Im a member at shooter's depot as well. Its really good for pistol's, not so much rifle. They dont allow shotguns, and rifles are allowed but pretty much only 22 's and 223/556. No 7.62x39. No handguns above 44mag. Because of the reasons listed above, I've thought about letting my membership expire and moving over to Carter's off 58. They allow shotguns, and one of my favorite guns to shoot is my Saiga 12. Shooter's depot is a nice facility, and the people are really nice too, if you are just wanting to shoot pistol's with an occasional 223, that'd be the place imo.
