  1. Maybe i can rig up a small electrical fence system, how much do cheap setups run these days? It would need to be about 25ft long is all. Ive never fooled with them before so i have no idea on how to go about it. Im guessing the box is the most expensive thing?
  2. maybe I just didnt use enough cayenne? I need to go to the store and get some more, the 90000 HU I ordered from amazon cause i cant find it that hot around here. The typical cayenne powder you buy at the grocery store is usually 30000 HU.
  3. Last weekend I went and got a truckload of fill dirt from my FIL to fix a few bad places in my yard. I spent a whole day shoveling and wheelbarrowing the dirt where it needed to be. My problem is my dog thinks I put it all there just for him to dig and lay in. Ive already tried 90000 HU cayenne powder, and it works good for a day or two till it wears off. Any long term solutions/tips to prevent him from digging?    And my dog is part of our family, so getting rid of him is not an option. I want real, serious tips or advice on the issue. thanks

  6. so Ive been having this problem, whenever I go to the topic moderation button, and try to change the topic prefix from "sale or trade" to "sold", and click the edit this topic button, I get an error message saying "Oops, something went wrong" followed by something along the lines of I dont have permission to do this? I can lock my threads just, I just cant change the topic prefix.    Is it me TGO? Tell me what Ive done wrong, I can change....I will change, I promise....I want this to work out.
  7. would the wad have enough velocity and mass on a ricochet to know his hat off like that with such force? I was thinking some shot came back and got him, not sure. Could be a piece of the tree too. You can definitely see something come back and get him

  9. I have a mossberg silver reserve 12ga o/u im really happy with. Its handled many rounds of skeet just fine so far. Im not sure if they still make them, but brand new they are/were in the $600 range
  10. I had a business lunch there yesterday, so i did not have a choice but to eat there. I will say though, their pulled pork is great.
  11. I woke up this morning, checked emails, saw this from gearhog, and went straight and bought one. Good deal. Ive purchased several promos from gearhog and never had a problem.
  12. gotchya, government agents scare me, so I try to do things to where I KNOW im doing nothing wrong lol
  13. I meant to say that i will be doing it that way cause its my own preference to do it that way. Im not a fan of ar pistols, so its not going to kill me to let it sit until i get my stamp back. Im not going to be buying the upper while im waiting on my stamp because i dont have a legal "useful purpose" for a short barrel, other than if i wanted to do a pistol build, which as above, im not a fan of. As far as "testing and tweaking" i can do that when i get the rifle built.
  14. Nope, you just cant have the receiver and short barreled upper together at the same time. Not even in the same house. Im going to get my receiver, send it off to get engraved at orion arms the same time i send off for my stamp. Then when I get my stamp about 6 months later, THEN I can buy the upper to go on it. Unless I want to build it as a pistol till my stamp comes in, which I dont really wanna fool with doing.
  15. Im really hoping this will be my first sbr. Ive got sbr fever badddd. I dont know if i can wait for the tgo lower to be in my hand is the only problem. Ive got a few copies of form 1's at my house and its eatin me up.

  18. Welcome to TGO, your friend was right, we like our guns! All in all TN is a great state to live in if your a firearm enthusiast. I love your neck of the woods too. Beautiful part of the country over there!
  19. Whenever we fly, we fly out of Nashville, so we use aa frequently. Ive never really noticed what your talking about. Ill have to pay more attention next time i fly i guess. As another member said, every airline has them. I prefer Delta over them all, but dont want to have to deal with Atlanta every time i fly. Never flown SWA.
  20. Same here, I had it a couple weeks ago in Memphis. We went on a saturday night so the wait was long but so worth it. One of the top steaks ive ever had.

    First AK

that is a sweet rifle, ak's for me are about like ar's for most. I love both, but given the choice Id rather take my saiga's out shooting before my ar's. I dont know what it is about them. This may be the start of an incurable condition for you. Enjoy!
  25. I had read before that holographic sights, like eotechs, can be a pain to use if you have astigmatism. Well i confirmed this when my neighbor got one for his rifle a while back and i got to shoulder the rifle and look down the sights. My astigmatism might be worse than some people's, but i could hardly look down the sight at all because of all the "starbursting" i think they call it. But thats my problem, not one with the sights. I just cant personally use them, unfortunately.
