  1. So whats the multiplayer verdict from you guys that have it?
  2. Found out about a fix for the shotty graphics on xbox 360! I read about it on the battlefield forums and it worked for me. In the main screen menu go to options, then display, then go down to "network smoothing" or something like that. Its set at a default 50%. Take it all the way up to 100%, then save the settings and join a match and check it out! Again it helped me a lot. Im playing on a 1080p led screen with hdmi. Hope this may help some of my fellow gamers on the 360 who was also disappointed in the graphics on bf4.
  3. Exactly, pretty much at the first of every conquest match i hitch a ride in the chopper till i get where i want to be in the map then just jump and parachute down.
  4. I wasnt going to till after the first of the year, but since then being disappointed by bf4, im sure i will be picking it up soon after launch. bluemtnst4r is my gamertag, if you add me let me know your the one from tgo. I usually dont accept friend requests from people i dont know
  5. so this game is PLAGUED with glitches, on the 360 anyway. thats all the threads are over on the BF forums. My biggest complaint is its freezing my 360 every few matches. I have to reboot it. Also, today, every premium member has lost some of their premium items, and there was an issue with the battlepacks. EA said they are working hard to get it all sorted out though
  6. I have to renew mine in May of next year, I know i still have plenty of time, but when should I go renew? I was thinking around the first week in April? Also, do you just go to the dmv to renew?
  7. Already sold out, i went straight there after reading this to snatch one up
  8. People still buying just to resell. All boils down to the "gougers"
  9. yeah ive got a few hours in multiplayer and the more I play it the more I get used to it. Not sure how I feel about the weapon unlock system. How you unlock each weapon in that category, by playing with that category. It looks like it will take a longgggg time to get everything unlocked. Still not liking the controls though, I really hope they give us a bf3 control option.
  10. This. Ive read its a huge commitment that takes many many years to master. iirc you have to be an apprentice for a couple years before going all in. Most definitely a way of life. I could never do it but would love to watch it at some point.
  11. Obviously, cause thats really what BF is designed for. At this point though im pretty disappointed. Maybe it will get better as the update come out and they tweak all the issues.
  12. A LOT of people have been complaining about the controls. There is a huge thread on the issue over on the battlelog forums. The game developers were/are supposed to give us bf3 controls back and call it "legacy" under the control layout options, but it hasnt happened yet. I hope they do it soon. I HATE the land vehicle controls.
  13. I missed the earlier spring shoot you had this year because of work, id love to make it to this one, but idk if ill have anything work related till January at the earliest. Ill keep it in my mind though!
  14. And to be completely honest, at this point i like bf3 multiplayer better. Im going to give it some more time to see if it gets any better. Is it just me or do the graphics look WORSE than bf3 (xbox 360)?
  15. I will completely agree with that, ive been meaning to put my application in for crc. Mark Scott does my transfers and seems like a great guy. He has done several for me now. How do you like the crc?
  16. ok I just beat the campaign, good but RIDICULOUSLY short. I had about 4 hours in it. Picked it up today and beat it today lol. It was a pretty decent storyline, but I would be lying if I said I wasnt a little disappointed. Oh well, on to multiplayer
  17. Ive got a few hours in the game so far, and as expected loving it! I havent even tried multiplayer yet, gonna beat the campaign first. I buy Battlefield for as much of the campaign as I do the multiplayer. I did notice though there has already been a multiplayer update. I would expect a few weeks before they get their servers set just right to where there are no multiplayer problems. It happened with BF3 as well.
  18.   I see your from Chattanooga, was the range in question Prentice Cooper?
  19. Id throw my wife the 10/22 and a few bricks of ammo then: My primary would be my saiga ak My secondary would be my springfield xdm 40. Melee would be a kukri blade of some kind.
  20. Ha you said butt.... Looks like a good setup man, what kind of wood are you gonna be using to do the smokin
  21. I guess cause your on central time? You will only get an hour or two head start on us console players, so thats not too bad. Im jealous though at the fact that you dont have to get out to pick up the game.
  22. Any of you guys dedicated enough to go to the midnight release? Im not lol. I put some serious thought into it but I know if i did, i would come home and start playing it at 1230 am, and not be able to stop till the early morning hrs, which would make for a long crappy Tuesday. So im just going to wait until tomorrow to go pick it up.
  23. Sorry to disappoint i guess?? Idk what to tell you, to each his own. People have different hobbies. Some guys metal detect, some guys ride motorcycles, some guys woodwork, etc. this thread was intended for other video game enthusiasts, specifically bf4 players. Im sorry if the thread title misled you.
