Same here. Im happy to say this jerky turned out amazing. Ill be using that recipe again, with maybe just a small tweak. Really happy with how it turned out though!

I got online this morning, and went to classifieds to lurk around and it said at the top "you are viewing the classifieds as a standard member....etc" So I went to the client area under my name, then purchases, and changed from standard 6 month recurring subscription to the lifetime benefactor. There was a pending invoice for my 6 month subscription. After I changed to lifetime, it said "your account will automatically be upgraded to lifetime status when the invoice goes through" or something along those lines. I just dont want to be charged twice, once for the 6 month subscription, and once for the lifetime. Am i good?

Just ordered one, $99 with hand select. I think this will be my FIL's christmas gift. 

Its a homemade marinade. but I cant take credit for the recipe. I found it while searching google for a spicy jerky marinade recipe. here it is.   http://allrecipes.com/recipe/sweet-and-spicy-venison-jerky/   I didnt use the lemon juice, and added 1 tsp cayenne pepper. It turned out awesome!!!

...is in the dehydrator! Cant wait for it to be done!!! The smell is already blissful. I used a sweet and spicy recipe. Im not kidding, i hope it tastes HALF as good as it smells. Sorry for the crappy panoramic pic, you get the idea though. As for the stuff in the background, we like our liquid encouragement in this household. That is all.
