1.
That's what he gets for sneaking around the tire pile. :) nice deer.
Lol i know right! This picture was taken at one of marion countys check stations, which is also an atv repair shop.
2. bumping this one up, I asked my wife to get me a sharpmaker for christmas, mainly so I can use it to sharpen my zt0350. I got to looking though, the stones that come with it are triangular, so do they hit the recurve good enough in the zt's? Seems like round stones of some kind would be the best for recurve?
3. I have both a zt0350 and a benchmade mini griptillian. I carry my benchmade more than the zt. Dont get me wrong, I like it alot, its just a bit to bulky for edc for me. to each his own though. I think Im going to get another benchmade next, just havent decided which one yet.
4. I had ghosts for about a week. I just couldnt get into it at all, im with the other member who said they didnt like the token buying system. Same here. I didnt even make it past rank 20 before I took it back. I'll just stick to my BF4 right now, although they are still trying to fix alot of crap with it as well.
5. it was one county over in Marion
6. My little brother took this high rack 10 pointer this morning. It's his biggest buck to date, congrats little brother!
7. mailed mine today as well, scheduled delivery of Friday
8. just finished up with my form 1's and Compliance certifications last night. going to get my pictures tomorrow, fingerprinted Thursday, then to sheriff Hammond's office to drop it all off Friday. Then once he mails them back to me, they will be sent off! Hopefully no more than another week or two.   Then the fun part starts. I get to hurry up and wait. I'm going to go ahead and send my lower off to Orion after the first of the year to get engraved. I'm glad these lowers dont have the machined out sections on front of the mag well, like the other cmt lowers have. That's where I'm going to get my engraving done. I'm so ready for this.
9. Man, what a time, right before the holidays $&!@ a thief.
10. you CANT remember gas being so many cents per gallon? You didnt know what an atari was till you where in your teens? You thought 8 tracks was an Eminem song?
11. Ill go first then. Got mine today. Thanks alot secret santa! I swear whoever you are, you have mind reading abilities because i was going to get that jerky seasoning variety pack myself! That same exact one! I was looking at it on cabelas or bass pro's website a couple weeks ago. Also it just so happens i have a perfect ar candidate for the flip up sights as well. Again, thanks!
12. that is a great looking shotgun, enjoy it!
13. Dave that pile of meat looks incredible. If/when we have another get together you better bring enough!! I'll try one of everything   Edited to add...cooked for "testing" huh? Well in that case, all that meat looks tainted to me, Im going to have to come confiscate it for further "testing"
14.   I second that
15. I will be sending mine out monday. Are we gonna do a separate thread showing off our loot?
16. ^ what he said. On xbox 360 (more than likely ps3 too, not sure about pc) every couple ranks you get "battlepacks" and just like juice said they contain random goodies. Like xp boosts that last for an hour, optics, paints, grips, etc.
17. looks good OS, what length barrel is that?
18. ok good to know, thanks!
19. Thats a good idea, i might put oal for a 10.5" barrel then
20. Another question. Once an sbr is approved and made, can you ever go shorter on the barrel than what was on the paperwork? Or can that sbr only ever have the size barrel originally built with
21. Thanks, i couldnt find it anywhere. My google-fu is off right now.
22. im filling out my paperwork for my first sbr!! II Duce has been a huge help in walking me through the process, so props to him. I have a question though. In section 4 e or f ( cant remember exactly) on a form 1, it asks for the overall length of the firearm. Im guessing this means that on one with a collapsible stock, it is referring to overall length if the stock is collapsed all the way? I plan on an 11.5" barrel, so can I just measure on one of my current 16" ar's? For instance can I just collapse the stock all the way and measure up to where an 11.5" barrel would be, and use that measurement on my form 1?     I hope to have the paperwork turned in around the first of the year, and with a little luck i will get my stamp back this time NEXT year. The way my luck goes though it will be 2015 before I see it.
23. some great looking starts! I picked my receiver sets up yesterday. Everybody was right, these things are NICE. Cant wait to get started on it.
24. looks great man. Palmetto had a lower build kit a couple months ago that had the magpul str stock with it that was $139. I wanted to jump on it for this build but didnt have the extra lettuce at the time. Ive got the same flashlight as you but I have the older version that is selectable between 15 and 200 lumen. How do you like that light mount?
25. suprised nobody has started one of these yet. We have a few threads on them in general chat, but they are scattered around.I think this will be better for actually posting your build/progress pics! So lets see those tgo receiver builds so far, or a completed rifle if your that quick! Im going to pick up my set in an hour or two, so I will be contributing my own photos very soon!
