One of my favorite scenes of the movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZocpwWLsyE

O Brother where art Thou is definitely my fave. Followed closely by The Shawshank Redemption, and We Were Soldiers

that was the exact sausage I had in mind for this. I havent added any butter to them yet might have to try that, my arteries do not thank you MacGyver. The one problem I have when I cook these is that when I'm cooking the sausage in the skillet, I cant stop eating it right out of the frying pan! By the time the sausage muffins get done, Im almost full. You would think the way I eat I'd have my own tv show for being overweight. Thank goodness for high metabolism!

I havent tried with pork yet. But im down to my last pack of deer sausage after this mornings batch. Let us know how the pork version turns out, like you said its probably just as good. I may even fry up some bacon and chop them up and give that a try too!

I like spicy things, so I added some crushed red pepper flakes to the recipe.

here is the thread for the recipe. Be warned though...they are delicious! Every time I make them they disappear really quick like. It's a mystery in the Reed household. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/75312-talk-about-yum-lil-treat-for-yall-to-try/
I'm a little conflicted - it's difficult to recommend a watch here: Reasons: 1. Price classes of watches. Please elaborate on what you can spend, and what you would be comfortable spending and what you really WANT to spend. Biggest issue of them all, here - Breitling/Omega are at the higher end of the spectrum, step down to Tag Hauer/Movado/Bulova - these are highly dependent on the model/movement. Seiko and Citizen - also depends on the model/movement. 2. Movement/power source - Mechanical : Automatic, Hand Wind ... Battery/solar/"kinetic"/electromechanical 3. Design: It seems like you want a dive watch - is this correct? That's the only design queue I've picked up on from specific models listed (Superocean/Seamaster) - You want it to stand out? How much so? As in "loud" or just unusual? Is this watch a "statement piece" as in "i've made it" or "I don't care about your rules" or "hot damn this is the coolest watch that's ever graced a human wrist?" Or do you just want a super classy wristwatch, that you can be proud of and later hand down?
Im looking in the neighborhood of 1500-1800 or less. Yes i want a dive watch. Its not a statement piece, if i wanted that id be looking for a new Rolex lol. Just a nice watch is all i want that has great quality and keeps time well. The breitling and omega at that price range would obviously be used. The more i look at the Tag Heuer aquaracer the more i like it. Also Citizens are starting to catch my eye more as well. Hershmeister i forgot about Tissot, ill have to check them out as well thanks!

^ that is a sharp watch. It's along the lines of what I'm looking for. Ive never had a Seiko or a Citizens but Ive heard both keep great time. If I get a Citizens it would of course be an Eco Drive.

Good looking watch! I plan to own a g shock one day, but right now it doesnt really fit the bill of what I'm looking for in a dress watch. Great pics too btw.
-
Never heard of them before, I'll have to check them out, thanks

I was just over on ebay looking more closely at some Tag Heuer's. I found several I did like pretty well. Which model did you get?
-
I searched and really couldn't find anything on this topic. Maybe I didn't look hard enough? Anyways I'm going to be in the market soon for a nice dress watch that I can wear to work events and nights out with the wife. I've been looking in the Breitling Superocean or Omega Seamaster range. I don't care to buy used as long as it can be verified authentic or I trust the person selling it. I've also looked at some nice Seiko's, and Citizen's as well. This will be my first "nice" watch. I'm just now kind of getting the watch bug, so I'm sure there are some good brands out there that I'm overlooking, or that I don't know much about. For instance Bulova? Are they a good watch? Also what about Movado? A well known brand that I also know squat about is Tag, but none of their watches stand out to me for some reason. Keep in mind I'm looking for a dress watch, not one I will were everyday. So lets have those watch opinions!

Dicks can go do there dickin on somebody else, cause i dont go there lol. Maybe this will make Sportsmans Warehouse lower their prices some. Gotta love competition

I live roughly 10 mns from where i think it will be. It will be nice having two huge sportsmans retailers so close by
We just got back, fourth year in a row. Had a great time as usual. Always good to catch up with old friends. I was pretty low key on purchases this year. I scored in the Hinderer cell phone lottery and picked up a couple of Busses. I also stopped by the Pro-Tech booth to thank Dave for what he's doing for us with the LG101 and the Godfather. I saw a tuxedo Godfather at his booth and am really looking forward to that one now. Also got to meet Axelson's brother which was pretty cool. Busse is doing a special run of knives called the Axehammer. They were taking orders directly and offering a discount at the show. He also had his brother's dogtags and a necklace with what they believe was the last bullet Axelson had on him when he was killed.
The buddy i was with won on the Hinderer lottery as well. Nice knives!

I stand corrected, this is my first OKC knife but it seems pretty well built for the price. BTW I gave $20 even for mine.

Okc UtilitacII Microtech Ultratech 20th Anniversary scarab blade
-
Just got back from Blade. Had a great time just like last year. My only gripe is not enough money! Soooooo many wants. The highlight of my trip was that I got to meet and shake Jeff Axelson's hand. The brother of Matthew Axelson. I shook his hand and paid a little respect to his brother, so that was cool! He was there with Busse Knives. I picked up a cheap beater knife (ontario joe pardue utilitacII) and a Microtech.

I can do that, but you may not like my fees
