  1. Guns & Leather has (had?) one of those sitting in their shop. I can't see dropping that kind of change on it, but it's definitely awesome!
  2. The second one you quoted has to do with criminal charges.
  3. The gas key doesn't look properly staked. I don't know my exact round count, but somewhere around 1500+ and I've never had any failures besides the bolt not holding open on the last round once.
  4. I'll play. 16" Bushmaster w/ Trijicon ACOG TA31F.
  5. IT Systems Technician. Primary job function: educate stupid people. Secondary job function: fix broken computers.
  6. Up to you. I can come out and let off a couple rounds. I wouldn't mind seeing that Strikefire in action.
  7. I have a Trijicon ACOG. It's not a red dot so I'm not sure that's what you're looking to compare it to. TA31F 4x32.
  8. Exactly. Brandishing with no intent to actually fire your weapon will get you killed. Brandishing when you are not authorized to use deadly force will get you thrown in jail. Just make sure when you pull it out you have good reason to use it and full intent to use it if needed.
  9. Bushmaster does have a commercial spec tube. The UBR ships with its own proprietary buffer tube. I don't have one, so I can't offer any insight as to how good it is. Drop their buffer tube on and it'll work fine on your rifle.
  10. All of my holtsers are Kramer Leather (two cowhide for Glock 23, one horsehide for my 1911). They have very good retention, there is no need for a retention strap.
  11. Hmm, my 10/22 needs one of those.
  12. That's a purty rifle.
  13. Ruger Mark III AR-15 setup as a DMR 10.5" barreled AR-15 Hero Gear 1911 Marlin 336W
  14. I live in West Nashville, I drive to the Montgomery County range more than I go to the one in Antioch. They have benches there, but they will let you shoot prone if you want. They are fairly laid back as long as you are safe.
  15. I just walked by there, they are posted. The letters were very small so I didn't check to see if the signage was legal. We know how they feel about RKBA and I wouldn't want to give them any business.
  16. I don't know if they're posted, but here's their number: 615.742.7256
  17. Shoot it! It's a shame to own a gun that never gets shot, that's what they were made to do. I don't want to buy it, but I'd love to have something old like that.
  18. I bought my AR from there. It doesn't seem much like a gun shop, I didn't see anything on display. He just went in the back and grabbed the box to show to me. I got a fairly decent price on it the week before the election. Nice guy to deal with too.

At least your foot escaped unscathed. Stay safe.
  20. My parents gave it to me.
  21. I would wait a while before I got one of those. One of our executives has one, he is having issues with it locking up and it won't delete emails (more locking up). Hopefully RIM will release an update soon to alleviate these issues.

  24. I just got one of these in from AIM Surplus. It just clamps on to the standard bolt catch on an AR-15. This thing makes reloading and locking the bolt open faster and easier, and you don't have to remove your hand from the pistol grip. Simply pull the charging handle back and push up on the lever to lock the bolt open. To release the bolt, just push down on the lever. The attachment to the bolt catch is secure, they supply a torx screw and a T8 driver to get it installed. It moves back and forth a little, but the bolt catch is moving with it. I don't see it getting in the way of your trigger finger at all.
