  1. You'll catch cancer at Gun City. I avoid going there anyway just because they suck in general. Owl Hollow is open, but the guy that owns the property is running it. I don't go there, but I'm sure someone can inform you. They're $40/yr I think. The state range in Antioch is only open Fri-Sun until 6pm, I think they close at 5 in the winter. I got scolded for doing double and triple taps with my AR, I don't think I'll be going there anymore. The state range in Montgomery County is almost as close for me and they don't ride your ass about every little thing.
  2. I'm gonna have to go with safe+big dog.
  3. I can assure you we had a much better time shooting than you did completing your honey do list . Good to see y'all again, looking forward to next month.
  4. Nice looking rifle. I should build my own one day. How'd she shoot?
  5. The Otis M16 cleaning kit I bought comes with a .30 cal brush for the chamber, nothing for the locking lugs. It's fine for a field expedient kit, though. I'll be at the Stones River range Sunday at 1pm. Let me know if y'all will be there. I'll be the one making lots of noise with my MN 91/30.
  6. Dick's in West Nashville had a bunch of the Q3131A1 for $10/box of 20 and some XM193 200rd boxes for $120. I won't pay that, but if you're desperate...
  7. Yeah, mine did that too. I just push, pull, turn 1/4 and repeat.

    New AR

    Oh yeah, there's that guy.
  9. I'm spoken for Saturday, I could do Sunday before the G&L shoot.
  10. Do you remember what they were asking for a 440rd tin?
  11. Hopefully I'll get out to Stones River on Sunday if I can find some 7.62x54R for my Nagant. I'm not sure I'll have much luck finding any by then.

    New AR

Sweet, they're lots of fun. Prepare to get bitten by the EBR bug and spend triple that on accessories .
  14. I'd be stoked if I had somewhere to hunt . Still gotta wait for firearms season though.
  15. Nice SBR. Was there anyone there to give you a hard time about it being too short?

    Quality of the Judge

I'm sure birdshot is great if they're not shooting back, or wearing a heavy jacket. I'd rather have 45LC for bad guys.
  17. Kramer Leather IWB and a Kramer paddle holster, depending on how I'm dressed.
  18. That seems about the price range you need to veer into to get a nice reliable rifle. I'd rather save another $200 and save myself some aggravation at the same time.
  19. There's a 20" Bushmaster listed in the classifieds at a very reasonable price. I think it has a fixed carry handle, though.
  20. Where are you shooting tomorrow? I could drop my firing pin in it or try my lower with your upper and see what happens.
  21. Safeties are overrated. I wouldn't trust my life to a Taurus. I carry a Glock 23 and would consider an XD as well.
  22. Glock 26+33 round magazine=win!
  23. I have 124gr Gold Dot in my XDm 9. I would have got 124gr +P if I could have found it.

    Sig ARs

    Meh.
