  1. A .223 Wylde chamber can shoot 5.56 and .223. I'm not sure how common it is to see a .223 Wylde chamber, though. As stated, a 5.56 can shoot both too.

    FFL

Have you checked Guns & Leather? If they don't have one they'll do the transfer for you. I believe they charge $25+$10 TICS. You just have the FFL holder you will be using fax a copy of their FFL to the seller, then the seller ships the firearm to the FFL holder. You fill out the 4473 and the FFL holder does a background check then you get your shiny new gun.
  3. Any future ARs I buy or build will have a 1 in 7" twist to facilitate shooting heavier loads. 1 in 7" will still shoot M193 just fine and I can't see wanting to go any lighter than that.
  4. Yep, I got the same deal through Amazon. Theirs is a credit towards your next game and I'm ordering Left 4 Dead 2 as soon as the credit hits my account.
  5. Shooting your suppressor convinced me that I need one. The sound of it hitting the water in that pond was the coolest part.
  6. I was under the impression that what they are doing is illegal. Am I wrong? Who's going to do something about it?
  7. BB King's is posted with a legal sign.
  8. No, it's much more tactical. Outpost Armory outside of Murfreesboro has some Maxpedition stuff. Not exactly in your area I guess.
  9. I'm watching "The Exorcist" on Netflix.
  10. I'm no expert by any means, but horsehide is an excellent material for making holsters.
  11. I'm going to have to disagree with you on all points. I keep my AR handy for home defense.
  12. I carry a Maxpedition Colossus around with me. It's got plenty of room for a gun or four (buy the holster that attaches w/ velcro) and a place to keep your spare mags. It is extremely well built. I also carry a Surefire light and small first aid kit along with whatever else I feel like throwing in it.
  13. I'm going to have to go with the M1A. That Loaded may not be as accurate as the 700, but I'd bet it's accurate enough. The M1A is a hell of a lot more fun to shoot though!
  14. I never got mine back from Serpas, don't expect to either. Maybe he was just confused and treating it like an ATF Form 4.
  15. Them tracers are pretty.
  16. They're cheap to buy, cheap to shoot, and I always want more guns!
  17. Tannerite should make a good first impression .
  18. The Mexican cokes I bought at Sam's were just as carbonated as normal coke.
  19. Cool, hopefully I'll get my first one when rifle season starts. She may be small but I bet she's good eating.

    trying to decide

The XD(m) is nice, I have the 9mm version. I personally don't care if it has a grip safety or not. The trigger is good and light and it's plenty accurate. I carry my Glock 23 most of the time just because it's smaller and I trust it.
  21. Sweet, I'll go buy as much as I can find!

    1911 Question

I can't remember ever seeing .38 Super ammo available for purchase, that could be a consideration for your purchase. I like my Springfield 1911 just fine.
  23. Flying Dog Tire Bite, it's ok. Sitting in my hotel room in Indianapolis bored to death.
  24. I bet he drove to the store, cuz he sure didn't walk.
