  1. I bought a small Centurion safe at Lowes for $360+tax. I'm fairly confident that no one will be able to break into it during the span of a burglary. It's fine for a bunch of hunting rifles and handguns, but my ARs don't fit in there very well. I made them work but if my collection expands I may have to pick up another safe.
  2. Guns & Leather has them for $309 sticker. I'm glad to know mine isn't the only one shooting really low.
  3. 1gb of RAM should be enough for using Windows XP and playing online poker. Are you running any anti-spyware software like Malwarebytes or Spybot Search & Destroy? I don't think adding an extra gigabyte of RAM is going to help anything. I'll check my spare parts pile, I might have a P4 processor that would be faster. ETA: What's the make/model of your computer?

    S&W MP15-22 Magpul

I made my own Magpul version. MOE grip and ACS stock. Probably too much money to spend on a .22 but I like it and I earned the money so whatever. I still intend to get the MBUS sights on it.
  5. I've never heard of the first one. I hear nothing but praises for Bravo Co though.

    Lunch pic

I love ketchup and will put it on any sort of potato that has been fried. I like meat loaf just because it is a good thing to put ketchup on. Had I made the steak using Jack Daniels marinade there would have been no A1, but I did make sure to only use it sparingly.

I used ketchup and just a dab of A1, they detracted from the presentation though so they were omitted from the pictures.

The senate overrode the veto 22 to 10. Just for you David:

    Lunch pic

In honor of our state senate (hopefully) overriding the governor's veto of the recently passed "Guns in establishments that serve alcohol" or if you're a journalist, "Guns in Bars" legislation. Also I'm off work until Wednesday and bored. So without further ado I present to you today's lunch: Living in an apartment I opted for the Alton Brown method of pan searing a steak. It was a little past the medium rare that I was aiming for but not overcooked by any means. This was one of the best cuts of steak I've had in a while. Thick boneless ribeye rubbed in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  10. Atlatl (spear) and a bowie knife.
  11. I want to get one, but I know it will end up costing me close to $2000 after I get a Larue Stealth upper and an optic.
  12. The GPS program on my Blackberry works great until I don't have data service. I'm planning on getting a Garmin one of these days.
  13. These are a little on the expensive side, but I like them. I'm selling my Loaded that came with them from the factory but my next 1911 will most likely be wearing them. They have a very aggressive texture to them and are very grippy for lack of a better word. VZ Custom 1911 Diamond Back Grips ETA: I always wear an undershirt to make carrying more comfortable. If you don't you probably won't like these grips for IWB carry.
  14. They probably didn't like how that one was going.
  15. That's a crying shame. I might just stick with the stainless guide gun then.
  16. Damn I haven't bought ammo in a while, haven't noticed that. They had better not stop selling ammo!
  17. I have been lusting after an 1895 SBL for a while now. I've held the stainless guide gun, but never the SBL. If I ever actually see one in the store I might just pick one up.
  18. Are you sending it to someone in TN? I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think there's a law against that. If you're shipping out of state it has to go through a FFL dealer.
  19. What are you doing for a trigger guard? That looks like a Magpul guard, it has an allen screw up front instead of a roll pin. Normal trigger guards will just have a spring loaded pin so the trigger guard can be flipped down. The rear roll pin should come out pretty easy.

    XDm 40 price

    I'd jump on it.
  21. I'd prefer .45 Long Colts for an every day carry round.
  22. CMMG Bargain Bin AR is $600. Other than that I'd get some sort of AK and shoot all the crappy steel cased ammo you want.
  23. Suggestion, don't carry it in her purse.
  24. Looks great. Massive fail for the Uncle Mike's holster, though. Get something that has loops to feed your belt through and is fitted to your particular firearm.

    One nice K40

It's too darn pretty, I might scratch it.
