    I don't shoot many revolvers, so I'm guilty of doing the same thing. I prefer to have the slide lock open on the last round .

    The USPS will ship a firearm between two FFLs. I had to ship my 1911 back to Springfield Armory, they sent me a FedEx overnight shipping label. They covered shipping both ways and replaced the barrel and bushing.

    My low pressure side was entirely too high. My compressor belt broke, it was a $25 fix.

    Yeah, that would help. I prefer driving down to pick one up. You get to look them over and check them for muzzle wear and throat erosion. Mine has a nearly new barrel and is in superb overall shape.

    I blame the media for that. Glad to hear Jarhead is fine out there. I was worried about him with it being so hot out.

    Yep, all of mine are defective too. Even my AR-15 and AK-74 still haven't wandered off on their own and shot up a school. I've been meaning to take them to a gunsmith but just haven't gotten around to it.

    I have an Arsenal SGL31, which is a professionally converted Saiga in 5.45x39. It's definitely a quality firearm and 5.45 is cheap to shoot.

    They're fun to shoot and ammo is cheap. Get your Type 03 Curio and Relics FFL and you can have it sent directly to your door! Only costs $30. Mine took 90 days to process.

    Welcome, I'm nearby in Bellevue. I usually drive to the range in Montgomery County. It's still a bit of a haul but not as bad as Owl Hollow IMO.

    Well if you're confronted by multiple attackers hopefully you'll only have to shoot one or two of them and the rest will run. I'm not counting on that, though.

    McDougal's FTW. I used to go to Midtown until they decided to post last year. I'm glad I switched. If you see a guy in Frugal's with a bottle of Knob Creek and a fifth of Gulden Draak that's probably me.

    Businesses aren't allowed to decide on their own whether or not to allow smoking. They're definitely not allowed to post "No blacks" or anything to that effect. Why are they able to say I can't enter with a firearm?

    I replaced it on my 9mm. It wasn't that hard to take out with a punch.

    Yes. A 5.56x45mm magwell will not fit a magazine for a 7.62x51mm round.
