  1. I like Springfield myself. They come with a lifetime warranty and great customer service. I'd go to Guns & Leather in Greenbrier and shop around.
  2. Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Bushmaster AR-15 5.56x45
  3. I'd have the ACOG on the 15T. I've used someone's EOtec/magnifier combo and didn't really care for it. I love my TA31f though.
  4. I'm fine with DI. I tried a Sig 556 and the balance just felt off, way too front heavy.
  5. Maybe PM Dustin@CIS and see if he will work something out with you. He runs courses in Smyrna.
  6. Good seeing y'all today. I hope you do well in your new business venture. I'll keep you in mind next time I'm looking for a new gun.
  7. I need to quit dragging ass and do one of these competitions one day. How much ammo should I expect to go through?
  8. What's their range fee?
  9. I can come over and look at it if you want. As far as encryption goes, WPA is more compatible with older computers than WPA2.
  10. I don't know why you'd sell a 1911 to buy a Glock. I have a Springfield 1911 Mil-spec. It is mostly relegated to range gun status due to the weight and the fact that I haven't bought any extra Wilson Combat 47d magazines for it. It does hide better than my Glock due to the thickness. My Glock 23 stays on my hip as often as possible. Guns & Leather probably has a 21 they'll let you rent. ETA: Gunny likes them because Glock gives him money.

    12 gauge revolver

Not nearly as long as it takes to sew your hand back on.
  12. I'm 6' 250lbs. I use a Kramer Leather IWB holster for my Glock 23. A good stiff belt really helps when it comes to comfort. My choice is a Wilderness Instructor belt, 1.5". I also have a double thickness horsehide belt for when I'm wearing slacks. I can't carry at work, but it works well for after.
  13. I thought this was going to be a Kaboom thread. Glad you're okay!
  14. Yes it was! It got muggy as heck in the afternoon though.
  15. I'd say get a slip on rubber recoil pad for the stock if you're not man enough for the recoil.

    Bill Haslam....

I don't like him either, but I sure as hell ain't voting for McWherter.

  18. I've hunted for two seasons and haven't bagged anything yet. I'm anxious to get out this year and hopefully bring some meat home. I don't think a bow setup is in the budget for this year but I hope to get one by next season just to take advantage of the extra time in the woods.
  19. Here's a screenshot from after November 4th 2008.
  20. We should do it in Kentucky instead.
  21. My Glock 23 is on my hip every day, I sure hope it's not useless.
  22. Disregard, didn't notice it was a .308.
  23. Nice rifles, looking forward to a range report!
  24. Gangbangers with Garands, now we're all screwed!
  25. It takes me about an hour to get there. Well worth it for not having to wait and not having to go through the check shed at Stones River. Its much easier to unload three rifles and my range bag when I can pull up directly behind the firing line.
