    S&W AR-15 Question

You would need a different barrel, bolt, and probably magazine to change calibers. The easiest way to do that is to just have a different upper receiver group in the secondary caliber you want to shoot.
  6. I guess we'll see what kind of reviews they get when they come out. The SD model with an SBR stamp and real suppressor would be full of win. I'm just a little leery because Umarex is involved.
  7. I've got my XD(m) 9mm with a Surefire X300 by my bed at night most of the time. My AR with Surefire Scout light is propped up on my desk too. I'll go with whichever feels right at the moment.
  8. If you get a face full of gun oil when you fire it you probably used too much.
  9. Comcast just came out to move my internet to my new apartment a couple hours ago. You can bring the laptop by if you'd like and I'll have a look at it for you.
  10. I wanted a S&W when I bought my AR. I found a Bushmaster at the right price and haven't had a single issue out of it. If I had it to do over I'd probably do the BCM. I bought mine in October 2008 though, they were kind of scarce.
  11. Hell putting real bullet holes on the body panels would be cheaper.
  12. This for the win. It will recover most Windows passwords. The Offline NT Password Editor works too, but there's a higher likelihood of it FUBARing your registry.
  13. Revision ftw!
  14. I like my Bushmaster. If I had it to do again I'd probably buy one of Bravo Co's 16" midlength ARs. A couple of guys I work with bought some CMMG Bargain Bin rifles and have been pleased with them. for $650 (chrome lined version, definitely a necessity) I don't think you can really go wrong with that. ETA: My next rifle will be something more expensive. I'm looking at either getting a LaRue Stealth upper and building my own lower or just buying a LaRue OBR Lite.
  15. I don't currently own a shotgun, the M4 has been on my mind though.
  16. So are you gonna bring that Benelli M4 to the next TGO Owl Hollow shoot?

    Larue Stealth upper?

You might as well just go ahead and get an OBR Lite. I got to handle/shoot one at the LaRue range day last month, friggin awesome!
  18. I'll try when I get home and see if the 15-22 mag will even stay in my AR lower.
  19. I can think of worse things than being newly single with $64 million.
  20. Thread title is misleading.
  21. I'm going to have to take my AR out if I don't get to the range with my 30-30 before then.
  22. I responded maybe, looks like I get to help somebody move instead.
  23. AR with 6 reloads, Lvl 3a vest and plates.
  24. The XBox has its uses. I prefer keyboard and mouse for first person shooters. Too hard to aim with a joystick.
  25. The fail is strong with this one.
