  1. That damn pivot pin detent was the worst part. I bought a tool to do my next one.
  2. Save the .410 for squirrels. I'll stick to 9mm/.40/5.56x45 for my home defense needs.
  3. That doesn't look hard at all. I don't like having to put the magazine in and pull the trigger though.
  4. Maybe he just needs to quit getting felt up by his coworkers.
  5. It's 4.5"
  6. When I had one of those, it fed Speer Gold Dot and Hornady hollow points no problem. I would try different ammo before you bust out the dremel.
  7. The Springer Precision trigger kit requires fitting for the XDm, probably won't be able to sell that separately.
  8. I guess you could add a Tungsten guide rod and a Surefire X300 to add some weight. Personally my XDm with the Springer Precision trigger kit is my favorite range gun. Of course you could hang a suppressor off the end of it to add some weight.
  9. I've got a Geissele SSA-E in one of my lowers, great trigger.
  10. I don't think there are any transferable (Pre-1986) Glock 18s on the market.
  11. That was a Gen 3 RTF. The RTF2 did away with the fish gills. I like the Gen 4's myself if it weren't for problems with the recoil springs. I see a Gen 4 26 in my future.
  12. Botach? You'll never see any of your order.
  13. I like my XDm 9mm (full size). It's a sweet shooter after I put a Springer Precision trigger kit in it. My only complaint is the magazines. If they are left loaded for an extended period of time they will not lock the slide open on the last round.
  14. I want one! My sole purpose of buying one would be to mod it, wouldn't buy one if I couldn't.
  15. The LT-110 will make the EOtech sit higher on your rifle. Regular iron sights will be usable through the lower 1/3rd of the EOtech and you can look over them to see the reticle. I would use some flip up sights instead, either Magpul (cheaper) or Troy (built like a tank), so they will fold down and out of the way. I like the MOE grip better than the Hogue grip. I've got a Hogue lying around if you need it. I wouldn't put anything from UTG on my rifles, just my opinion.
  16. It's an AK, it wanted them to bury it in the mud!
  17. Yep. Details man, details!
  18. I think someone stole Joe's idea.
  19. OMB's Express Police Supply - Distributor of 5.11 Tactical Equipment has a First Responder section for firearms. Prices look pretty good.
  20. I was thinking about building an AR pistol too, just to tide me over until I can get a stamp back for it. I'd rather have about a 12.5" barrel.
  21. What safe were you using?
  22. You're fine unless you've had two DUI's and one of those was in the last 5 years. I trust Mr. Harris's opinion on the matter and the guy I was asking about in the following post did get his HCP. Tennessee Firearms Assoc. Inc. • View topic - Applying for carry permit after a DUI
  23. I just saw that the other day, never tried them. Do they deliver?

    Advice on first AR

Your Bushmaster is 5.56. Look on top of the barrel towards the muzzle. It's marked B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9.
  25. Welcome from West Nashville/Bellevue area. Now get that permit and carry it on ya'!
