  1. Yep, the surplus ammo is corrosive. It needs a good thorough cleaning after being shot. Don't dwell on it for a couple of days either or you'll be dealing with rust.
  2. Barrett REC7 6.8 SPC w/ ACOG would be my ultimate rifle. I can get a decent 6.8 for cheaper and probably will.
  3. Buy a lot of land in BFE and build a house (or compound) on it. Buy a condo in Nashville. Machine guns, suppressors, etc. Fast car, driving lessons, offroad vehicle (Umimog?). I'd make sure parents and grandparents didn't have to worry about money.
  4. Receiver markings don't mean much, you need to find out what is stamped on the barrel. For their standard AR, Bushmaster uses a 1 in 9" twist 5.56 NATO chambered barrel.
  5. If you're buying it from a dealer and it's not old enough to be antique. This is assuming you don't have your C&R.
  6. WTF is this ****?
  7. Open beta will be tomorrow. Battlefield 3 Beta

    6.8spc or 243?

I'd keep the .243 in a bolt action. The only reason in my mind for getting a 6.8 is to stick with the AR pattern rifle that I love and am familiar with.
  9. I'm playing on PC. evilsmurfkilla on Origin.
  10. Not that I have one, but it would be cool if it took an HK autosear.
  11. Here's an easy way to create a bootable AV thumb drive: Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper Beta | Microsoft Connect
  12. Glad to help. Make sure to download and run Malwarebytes and make sure your antivirus software is running and up to date. There's a possibility you could still be infected. Highly probably if you ask me.
  13. Most likely they aren't gone, only hidden, depending on what kind of System Restore you did. Open your My Documents folder. Click on Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Show Hidden Files and Folders. That should show you if they are still there. If you don't see Tools at the top, tap Alt on your keyboard and it should show up. Now do a Select all (Ctrl+A) and right click, then click Properties. Take the checkmark icon off of Hidden.
  14. I kind of want one now that they've quit making them.
  15. I've got no problem with .223 on deer. I might use a .308 if I had one. I have a 30-30 but it is less accurate than my AR.
  16. He probably already knew you had a permit.
  17. I can't think of many things sadder than seeing a CTS-V on the interstate going 45mph with the turn signal permanently on.
  18. Buick is still around aren't they?
  19. I used a 62gr Barnes TSX loaded by Cor-bon and sold as a DPX. It did the job just fine and I will be using the same ammo this year. I would use the 70gr TSX but I've got a 1/9" twist barrel. The TSX bullets are solid copper and therefore the 70gr bullet is longer than a similar weight bullet containing lead, requiring a higher twist rate to stabilize. Where I'm hunting I don't expect to get a shot over 100 yards in the woods, possibly 200 if I happen to see one in the field.
  20. Cute cub. I kid I kid. Congrats!
  21. I have a DOCSIS 2.0 modem, theoretical maximum speed is 26Mbit.
  22. This is one of the reasons I quit going to Stones River. That and having to wait 30 minutes or more to get a shooting lane on some days.
  23. I do believe the Glock 21 uses the same frame, it would probably be easier to find and fondle.
  24. Montgomery Co. Shooting Complex. I'll be heading that way shortly.
  25. I found this chili recipe online, I will be making some tonight or tomorrow.
