Yep, exit wound was bigger than I thought a .223 could do. Rethinking whether or not to get a 6.8 SPC upper.

Got this doe today, 96lbs field dressed. I swear she felt heavier than that. 62gr Corbon TSX at about 30 yards through both lungs.

I was on 3G yesterday for a while, thought it was just my phone acting up. I was back on 4G by 11PM.

That sounds like a pain in the ass. Magazine springs can be replaced, and they're not expensive. I keep mine and some spares loaded. I unload them about every 6 months and use change them out with my range mags.

I think $9 is worth it for the chrome lining.

Not all DPMS barrels are chrome lined. Bushmaster barrels are, and they use 4150 barrel steel instead of 4140.

Shotgun and AR are usually loaded with a round chambered, even if they're in the safe. Carry pistols are always loaded with a round chambered. The only exception is if they're in their case on the way to the range.

I was starting to get anxious last weekend, went out in the rain Sunday morning and didn't see a damn thing. Saw one running off when it was past shooting hours Saturday night. Was too dark to take a shot even if I'd seen it before I spooked it.

I hated the XD(m) trigger until I installed a Springer Precision trigger kit on it. Felt mushy with a long reset and pull.

As long as you do it quickly enough that you don't have to shoot them in the back I don't see the problem.

Not a bad price at all. AIM Surplus is about $167 shipped. I'd order from them just because I've used them in the past and they're a trusted vendor.

I bought a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, seems to work well enough. I just can't take off without getting shot down by AA, no flares or rockets sucks too.
