    beer snobs

I too am a beer snob, buy almost all my beer from the liquor store. In the fridge right now I have: Dogfish Head 90min Terrapin Hopsecutioner Red Brick HopLanta (meh) Sam Adam's Oktoberfest Love me some Gulden Draak, Old Rasputin, Sierra Nevada Torpedo, etc as well. I'd rather be sober than drink nasty beer.
  2. A good light will allow you to see your sights. Personally I use a weapon light and night sights on my HD pistol. Surefire X300 and Heine Slant Pro Straight 8 on my Glock 21.
  3. It's a bit high IMO. Guns & Leather is $10 for their stationary target range, $15 for turning targets. I would probably spend more than that in gas driving my truck to get to G&L though. ETA: Just now saw Brian's post that it is unlimited time, that makes it much more reasonable.
  4. Wilderness 5 stitch instructor belt is nice, but it's still not as good as a Beltman leather belt, horsehide for mine.
  5. I'm gonna carry Speer gold dots one way or another. Either Glock 21 .45 or Kahr CM9 9mm.
  6. Glocks have very consistent triggers and better reset than the XDs, IMO.
  7. They did advertise on their website at one time that they were going to sell reloading supplies. I'll probably check them out, but I won't be getting a range membership like I wanted.
  8. Yep, definitely banned.
  9. You can hunt on private land or TWRA Wildlife Management areas. Deer, bear, turkey, and possibly wild hog are the only animals you have to check in. Take them to a big game checking station before taking them to the processor. All this information is available on TWRA's website. http://www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife.html
  10. I tried it with an Improved Cylinder and Modified choke, didn't have much luck. with either.
  11. Not yet, I thought Bud's was faster than this. Still no tracking number. I've been to the trap range with my FN SLP Mk1, didn't do all that good. Was hoping the Winchester SX3 would help out. I'll definitely be heading to Montgomery Co Shooting Complex to get some practice in.
  12. AR Performance 6.8 SPC upper.
  13. Got me a shotgun ordered. Looking forward to shooting some birds. Anybody want to show a newbie how it's done?
  14. Less shenanigans, more pics.

    M&P 15-22?

He's wrong. If it has a flash hider from the factory it is threaded. Buy one, love mine.
  16. Can't guarantee they have it, but Guns & Leather gets most of my business.
  17. I think "most" is an exaggeration on your part. Most women refuse to even touch an icky gun.
  18. Giggity.
  19. Sounds like you need to borrow somebody's computer long enough to burn a CD. I'd help you out if you were closer, sounds like your PC may be proper ####ed and in need of a reformat/reinstall.
  20. Need to know what OS you're running. Ophcrack will find simple administrator passwords for Windows XP or Vista, doesn't work with 7. NTPasswd will set the administrator password to blank. http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ Supposed to work w/ Win7.
  21. You're a bit far from me. I ride every day unless it's raining. I'd like to ride The Dragon but I think I need more experience before I do that. I am very fortunate to live close to The Natchez Trace.
  22. Hunting boots and every day boots are not going to be the same thing. If I wore my 800gr Thinsulate Irish Setter hunting boots every day I'd have to pour the sweat out when I pulled them off. I wear Red Wing boots every day, but I don't do any actual manual labor so my opinion may not count for much. If you have narrow feet and wear about a size 12 I've got some insulated Gore-tex Danner combat boots I could get rid of.
  23. Firefox, NoScript addon, Adblock Plus addon.
  24. Could put it in Federal boxes and not bother tumbling at all.
