  1. I do not enjoy waking up early, but once I'm up, I do enjoy early morning. It reminds me of geeting up early during the summer and riding to work with my dad.
  2. I had Trijicons put on my G27 when I sent it to Glock for work. I think they cost $70 w/ free installation. However, I did it because it was already there and I thought it was a good deal. I think the Glock sights were $50 to have installed. I'd look locally.
  3. That's Luttrell.
  4. And so it seems. Great to know. What am I gonna do with all these kittens pictures though?
  5. I actually preferred the fixed version on the Droid. It looks better and fills the screen. The work safe version is a great idea and I'll let you know how it works when I have to drag my a$# back in there but what usually gives it away at work are the gun avatars. If we could replace all those with kittens it would be swell.
  6. Favorite is tied between Radiohead and Jethro Tull. Honorable mentions go to: Johnny Cash David Gilmour
  7. Chuck Norris.
  8. Right you are sir. The middle one a bit more worn than the other. And I don't find them to be hot at all to wear, even in Florida.
  9. I would need a better belt for sure.
  10. Decisions. Decisions. .
  11. They are pretty nice. I'd recommend getting a long and short blade.
  12. Added a couple of boys to the lineup. Check 'em out. Cold Steel 12" Spear Point Machete Cold Steel 12" Barong Machete CRKT Sting (AG Russell) CRKT N.E.C.K. The machetes I picked up closeout. Not real sharp out of the box, but great for $8. The N.E.C.K. is a cool little fixed blade that came pre-wrapped with paracord and a very versatile holster system. The Sting is my favorite. Great weight and size, one piece construction and also has a cool leg sheath.
  13. Wedding Present.
  14. Got married. Well, rehearsed it anyway. Crazy the things you do when TGO is down. If it goes down again I may have a few kids.
  15. What do you guys know about these guns?
  16. Looks really great. I just hope the new site has cup holders and lumbar support.
  17. If this thing is down too long, I may start twitching about noon. Keep us updated via twitter if things get hairy. God forbid I get any work done tomorrow.
  18. Apparently, Terry offers some really sweet deals for group buys. I e-mailed him yesterday and he was very quick to respond. I've got too much going on to organize a group buy, but maybe one of our more senior members will take the lead on this one (willis68, I'm looking at you ). If I can spare the cash, I'd be interested in a G10.
  19. The hogue grip has to be modified to fit, I Think the pachmayr does not.
  20. I've gotten away from carrying anything in my back pocket. Going with a front pocket wallet was a great decision. Makes sitting way more comfortable and it's more secure.
  21. I've got 4 pieces of skateboard grip tape 3" x 9" I will mail out to 4 people who could use A piece. Please PM me. One spoken for.
  22. Got the tape today and got to cutting. It feels a whole lot better IMO. If anybody's interested, I've cut 4 pieces of grip tape 3" x 9". I'll mail one piece to 4 people. PM me. One spoken for. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gear-classifieds/20736-pay-forward-12.html#post546149
  23. Got my Recon today and I was blown away by how big it was! It is the exact same length as a standard envelope. The only thing I didn't like was the blade tension was too loose for the size of the blade and I cut the crap out of my finger when the blade closed on it. One small turn with a torx bit fixed that. (Blade is really sharp BTW)The G10 handles feel terrific. The pocket clip is a bit stiff, but because of the size I don't think I'll be EDC this knife anytime soon. Overall, it seems really well built and I'm glad to have it.
  24. What tomorrow's headline should read.
