Nice find! when ordering online try to order as much as possible to offset the SH and hazmat charges. (you dont pay those locally)

I am about 1 week ahead of you and facing the same problems! But making progress slow and steady. Here are my "solutions". After a lot of phone calls and some quick trips in the car I rounded up a few thousand primers to get me started. Here is what I suggest. Call around to gun shops and outfitters and ask. Frequented places like the Reloaders Bench and Midsouth Shooters Supply have backorders going through to 2010.. but some places like the odd gun shop and "off the beaten path" retailers have some sitting there that they never sell or just came in. Rare - but out there. Expect to pay $30-$40/1000 though. One tip - if you find primers that may not be exactly what you are looking for, get them anyway - because you might be able to trade them later for what you want. I have several thousand brand new small pistol magnum primers that I would gladly trade for Large Pistol if someone were so inclined and wanted to meet FTF. Good luck. p.s. feel like a road trip? http://stlouis.craigslist.org/spo/1296057218.html

Dont know if this has been discussed, but it looks like one of the best movies of all time is being remade. Red Dawn. This time - its the Chinese! (and of course, the Russians join in ) Reports say its going to be uber-realistic a la Bourne Identity, and will be big big budget. Tom Cruise's kid is in this one.. and that dude from the new Star Trek.. lets hope they dont screw this one up. Here is the classic for ole times sake:

Thanks Gang! Here are some pics of her hammering nails! At the end of the day.. she still respects the firearm. -

What is this for? 45 ACP Small Primer Brass

Hey gang - Ive got some Fed-200 Small Pistol Magnum Primers, and I have read a bit about using them in .45 ACP. I know handloads.com says to use the Rem 2.5 LP primers for my 185gr JHP's, but I was wondering if anyone has used SP magnum primers for .45 with any success? No go for .45 or Just notch down the Powder Weight a bit or what?

Not all Lee presses are Cast Aluminum. Take a look at the Lee Classic Cast Press - that thing is cast from solid Iron railroad rails.. I am picking up a Hornady lock-n-load ap tomorrow! The journey begins...

I dont think that is going to be a good deer gun, unless she is a really good shot and you can get very close to the deer. Otherwise.. could just wound the animal. That said - check these out: Winchester Super-X Ammunition 223 Remington 64 Grain

Well I finally got my Taurus Millennium Pro in .45 today and I have to say - I really like it. Its feels great and is so balanced in my hand. Its only 22 ounces but still has a real "meaty" feel to it. It fits great in my front pocket with almost no bulging and slipped nicely in the SOB holster too. I haven't shot it yet, but I broke it down and took some pictures. Once cleaned up and some time with it at the range, I am looking forward to this being my EDC gun (I travel and work in Memphis alot). Enjoy the pics! Came with a spare mag and a keys for the internal locking mechanism I have pretty small hands and this gun makes them look big! This is one compact pistol, especially for a .45 Love the Heinie sights Holy packing grease Batman! Conventional groove and land so I should be good to go to shoot my reloads. This is a 3rd gen gun so any frame cracking problems from previous editions should be ancient history. Breakdown.. pin comes out with a little coaxing Wow - Grease city. I wouldnt feel comfortable shooting this thing right out of the box. Time for some of this stuff! So far - I am pleased. I am hoping to come back here with a good range report, but I'm going to be in Clarksville all day tomorrow so likely wont get to go shoot until this weekend. Overall - the gun feels good, and the price was waaaaayyy right. Tom over at Guns for America really did me right and threw in some nice extras into the sale. He really went out of his way for me today. Kudos to him. Thanks guys - another happy gun purchase.
