  1. howdy.
  2. +1 forget about the prices.. i cant even FIND .45acp in my area! reloading is a NECESSITY!
  3. Pretty happy with my Taurus PT-145 so far. Its eating everything I feed it.. is light for a .45, easy to conceal, and feels so good to shoot. Cheap to buy, too.
  4. Heres something to consider, Scott. Hornady is giving away 1000 free bullets ($300 value) if you buy the LNL AP progressive press and 100 more for a die set ($30 value). Midsouth has them for about $370.. not a bad deal really. With plates and dies your net costs is like $150.... and you got one heckuva nice setup. My dad and I did this last week.. setting up the press now...
  5. I spotted several Cougars at The Boundry in Nashville the other night...
  6. price increases have no effect on empty shelves here in Franklin...
  7. howdy from nashville
  8. I dont think its a Mill
  9. CEDAR CITY GUN CLUB LEBANON, TN Club Details
  10. Id go more often if I could find .45 ammo! .... I hate sending $$PP stuff downrange. the reloading setup is not complete.. getting close!
  11. Hey - ill take that off your hands.. .is Franklin on your list of Mid Tn areas this week? EDIT: sorry.. cant use GAP - thanks anyway!
  12. Come with a powder drop? .. Im no expert, but just bought this HORNADY LOCK-N-LOAD AUTO PROGRESSIVE PRESS for $368, add a caliber shell plate for $30 and a die set for $40 and you are pushing $450. That case trimmer is worth $50 prolly. You decide it what you have is worth $175. Good luck.
  13. rough? are you nuts? that looks great!... do you get the case trimmer also? if so that is a honey deal. I'm not sure what die set comes with it, but you can by dies for .223 for $30-$40
  14. ahh, cool. nice work.
  15. what am i looking at?
  16. Agreed with Hexhead. Its not so much a place to get good deals anymore, but rather a place to find "hard to find stuff" and trade stuff you have quickly. I have a ton of SP magnum primers I cant use and traded some straight-up for LP primers at the last Columbia show.. still have a bunch of SPM primers left though.. ..but really with internet networking and sites like these... traditional gun shows dont offer much anymore - which is why it will be such a relief to attend the Mid-South Guns And Gear Expo when it happens!
  17. Im gonna pay this forward for all the good advice Ive gotten on TGO so far... Anyone want a well-used Popizon Chair? There is no base for it.. but its still fun to sit in. Good for kids or videogamers. Dad and I cleaned out the basement to set up the reloading gear and I figure this bad boy needs to find a new home. Free to anyone who wants to pick it up near Brentwood, TN. PM me if you want it and its yours. EDIT: ITS GONE TO A GOOD HOME! THANKS GUYS!
  18. funny you should say that...
  19. Hornady is top notch and their progressive loaders retail from $350 on up.. so a used setup with all the fixins at $175 should be well worth it if its in good shape.
  20. complainers
  21. love the NILL grips!
  22. voir dire - I'm sure it WAS a doozy. Got to have a good reason to bus jurors from 180 miles away. Youre right- I dont envy him. What a PIA. Hes got 2 infants at home too.. so I'm sure the wife is loving this also. Oh well - he's doing his civic duty so kudos to him.
  23. Go ahead an count me in for some labor when needed. I'm not interested in "making a few bucks" - donate that to the cause. Keep it up guys.
  24. David this looks like alot of work. Is there anything we can do to help out?
