  5. .45 ACP JHP, 6.2 gr of Accurate No.2 powder, WLP primer, 1.210" OAL, shot in Taurus PT-145, 3.25" barrel.
  6. bang bang bang! the 6.3gr loads did much better. ran through a bunch of rounds today at owl hollow with nary a problem. tore out the center of the target pretty good too! great meeting some of you guys out there today: Bill, Bill, Charles, and Duncan. perfect day for shootin.

  8. I'm using Accurate No.2 powder and Rem 2-1/2 Large Pistol Primers.

  10. Ive got Fed 200 small magnum pistol primers... if you had some Large pistol primers I would trade you straight up for the small pistol ones.

  14. yea.. the pistol dies are full length resizers so lube is necessary.
  15. what powder are you using? I would consult the powder mfr website or email the chief ballistician for the exact specs you need.
  16. i enjoyed seeing all the cylinders firing. but still 1AA opponents should not give us too much cause for celebration. Bruins will give us all we can handle.

    Cleaning handguns

    get a simple cleaning kit from a gun store or wally world. Hoppes no.9 and some cotton cleaning cloths. follow the instructions on the kit. pretty simple. most mfrs suggest cleaning after each shooting.

  22. do you powder charge rounds like I do in the video, or do you put the powder through the die? I found that quite a lot of powder gets stuck to the lube in the die if I do it that way.. so I leave the die out. Just curious.
  23. Ohshoot.. I think you're right. I see your point tho Mike.. deprime 50, then size 50, then charge and seat 50, etc.. right? That might be faster.
