  1. Yes. The bike shines with maneuverability, increased situation awareness, easy maintenance, low EMP risk (older bikes) and great fuel economy. But its not so good in bad weather, carrying lots of gear, and presents a greater risk of injury.
  2. Agreed, Im all over the gas on-site storage.. that's in the works. But Katrina-like disasters made me think twice about using my daily driver to get out of dodge. Still havent made my mind up though. Maybe a big truck or buggy would be good..
  3. Got a BOV? Post pics and tell us what you got. I'm thinking of buying an old dualsport motorbike. Something like this
  4. yea.. i was wondering who would pull out the race card first. surprised we made it to 7 pages. Good work CK1!
  5. look at the cnn polls - even the dems think this is dumb.
  6. whether you upload it there or post it here, its still being uploaded to the internet and anyone can save it to their computer. you can PM me if you have more questions.
  7. yea.. they are mine. see here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tgo-forum-support/28387-faq-how-do-i-post-pictures.html i use imageshack.us
  8. What? are you serious.. Guys - this is a "show your concealed setup" thread. You have to expose the weapon to really show the setup right? , otherwise we would just be looking at peoples clothes. No, you don't have to disrobe to draw your weapon - see below. Yea. we have a winner. Drawing is really easy - faster IMO than supertucks or other deep conceal holsters, because there is nothing to untuck. Not sure what dunlapped disease is... Me neither! The barrel never points at your junk in this holster. It sits in front of the goods with the barrel pointing downward to the floor. I was hoping to see what carry setups others use, not necessarily turn this into a SmartCarry® review. For a good review, read this webpage.
  9. See this thread: Need identification help on a pair of .22 rifles. - THR
  10. congrats.. but your screen name is Newbie? What.. you dont expect to hang around here long?
  11. anyone have any good ideas of suitable tanks? stored in the garage OK or is outside necessary?
  12. Can anyone recommend a good way of storing gas at my house? I've looked at those plastic Blizt cans at the store, but they say that is not good for long term storage. I'm not looking to store a ton.. maybe 30-50 gallons or so. Tips on suitable containers, additives, and storage locations or methods would be well appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Good point - there is Cattle off of the Southern border.. but not much else around us.
  14. If you wear dress slacks like I do most days it fits great. It usually points right at the seat edge in front of you. It never points at your boys standing or sitting, always at the floor between the legs. Very safe imo - takes some getting used to, but so do all holsters.
  15. dang Tzu.. you're like the TGO "old news" nazi!
  16. Show us what you got! I'll start Taurus Millennium Pro .45 (3rd gen) in a white duck cloth SmartCarry® holster. Part of my daily office attire.
  17. Yes I reload. Cant afford to buy .45acp as much as I like to shoot... I ordered the catcher from the man, himself. Mr. Akuna. GREAT to deal with. Akuna Brass Catcher
  18. success! Took it out to owl hollow today.. works like a charm! popped of 10 or 15 rounds.. the all went in the corral like sheep. The bottom of the basket slips off.. pour out the shells, slip it back on - new mag and im blasting again. Great weather to shoot outdoors today!
  19. Sorry to hear that, Daniel. Memory Eternal.
  20. Exactly.. just don't hug any ladies in the office too close or you might get a visit from "Toby"
