Most Appleseed instructors are happy to loan their 10/22 to first-time Appleseeders of you want to "try before you buy". If you sign up for a shoot in Manchester or Pelham, we'll usually have several loaners available to use. BTW, I've been involved in the program for about four years now.

Check out the Crossbreed Supertuck holster with one of their belts.. I carry a Commander Bobtail with no issues.

Thanks for being a State-wide donor with these knifes. I obtained one at the Highland RIm FNRA event this past Saturday. It looks even better in person. -
It'll, at best, get you on paper. Shots on paper, after that, should get you there. One MOA at 100 yards is one inch, so adjust accordingly (assuming the sight has the 1 MOA dot).

The room we had had a large bathroom. Do the 360-degree virtual tour of a room and look for the bath robes on the bathroom door.

Our new favorite place to stay on Saint Simon's is the Village Inn and Pub.

As Hiker said, the Kenwood Inn is a great B&B (stayed there twice). Check out the San Sebastian Winery for really good muscadine wine. The Old Town Trolley is an easy way to get around town and each driver has their own perspective on things. I also second the Saint Simon's Island recommendation. I've lost count of how many times I've been there.

There was a period of poor customer service but that was rectified in the last two years (disclaimer: I've been involved with the store since Joe's days). The story's a little more complicated than that and that's all I'll say at the moment. Jeff moved to Texas as is part of Republic Forge. -

Old Shed Brewing Company is on the road to Manchester. They have an excellent IPA they call Southern Pale Ale. George Dickell Distillery has tours but nothing as fancy as Jack Daniels. Hero Gear is currently closed. -
Project Appleseed still teaches sling use at each and every clinic. Full disclosue: I am an Instructor-In-Training for Project Appleseed.

Walden's (off I-24 Exit 105) is $6 per visit (last time I was there). The Highland Rim Shooter's Club (Aronld AFB - I-24 Exit 117, must be military affiliated, government contractor at the base or sponsered) is $25 per year.

My wife has a Walther PK380 fr her EDC gun and a Walther P22 for range work. Why, you ask? Both are basically identical in size and operate (safety and magazine release) the same.

A similar print (Free Flight II) is $75 on eBay.

Been looking at the vTech Home Safety System for the mother-in-law. The pendant can call two speed-dial numbers that you program so there are no service fees. It's about $79.95 at Wal-Mart.

See if you can find a Springfield XDs in 9mm. If it's anything like the XDs in 45 ACP (which I have), it'll be a fine carry piece. -

I'll be there as an instructor.

I usually open carry my CBOB 1911. Had a guy say to me at Wal-Mart once: "Have many enemies?" I responded "Nope" and walked on. From my observations, most people don't even notice open carry much less concealed.

I'm fairly certain he's talked to ORSA but I think they wanted participants to be members. An Appleseed event is best on a range with 25 or more firing points so more courses of fire can be accomplished and more Riflemen can be made. The range distance is 25 meters but longer ranges are cool too. Here's information on hosting an event: How to Host and Appleseed

The Shoot Boss for Tennessee Appleseed has been attempting to locate a host range in East Tennessee but hasn't had much luck yet.
