  1. Please let your wife shoot the 9mm and you use the .40 S&W! The whole point of the course is that you have received some training on the handgun and can use it safely. I took the course with a 22LR Mark III Ruger and took Top Gun but now feel guilty. I should have used my Beretta PX4 45 ACP but didn't because I was short of 45ACP ammo but had plenty of 22LR. My wife bought a Walther PPS .40 S&W and did fine but it hurt her wrist due to arthritis and now she will not shoot it anymore. She now uses my SA XDM 9mm and it is now her CCW and I carry the PPS.

    trying to decide

The grip safety is well worth it and is much more accurate, IMHO. I own a 9mm XDM and just love it.
  3. Welcome, Ditto
  4. Thanks. Thats all very good advice. I will go to my local gun store and see if we can work out a trade for Glock 20SF.
  5. look forward to your posts and hope to see you around town shooting (at the ranges that is)
  6. Thanks! I'll check out a factory Glock 20SF and the RZ10. It's appeal is also that you can take it hunting.
  7. she is really good singer. She probably has several bodyguards.
  8. I wanted something fun to shoot at the range and impress my friends so I was looking at a Glock 20. It had a slightly smaller grip than standard, a ported barrel heavier spring, new trigger and a J point MRDS. The plain Glock 20 had too large of a grip for my average size hands but the gun store wanted $1999.00 for it. Anyone like shooting a 10 mm? Any better 10 mm platforms?
  9. Walther PPS! My wife just purchased this gun for CCW and its just perfect. You don't need high capacity mag's for CCW and there is no thiner gun than the PPS. MHO.
  10. Nice. I've thought about the witness protection in 11'' but probably not going to ever need it other than to say I have a cool gun,
  11. Hi, Finally a day off. I am carrying a Ruger LCR in a Desantis Appache Ankle Rig and 128 gr JHP in a speedclip in my pocket.
  12. The most comfortable is the Ruger Mark3 22/45 which is a real pleasure to shoot and is the same grip as the 1911.
