    Drive Safely

I think the problem most of those people had was they were driving on the wrong side of the road. Mac
  2. I shoot USPSA with NTPS in Dickson. I wish Manchester still shot USPSA instead of just IDPA. The Sept NTPS match is the 4th-5th, and I'd love to take you out there if you haven't been. It will be 6 courses of fire, 136 rounds. (I miss alot, so I never take less than double the minimum round count.)If you'd like to get together before then, I'm a member at On Target in Murfreesboro and we can meet there if you'd like to try out any of my Production rigs. Be forwarned, the M&P rig is my wife's... so it's Tactical Go-Fast Red. Mac
  3. My buddies uncle had twin DE .357's. Only way he could carry them reliably was with a double vertical shoulder rig. I'm pretty sure that was a total "Mall Ninja" way of sporting them, but I will have to admit it was impressive as hell. Mac
  4. Come on out G23, I have an XD9Tac, M&P 9Pro, Beretta 92fs, and CZ SP01, all with rigs, that you're welcome to use.Mac
  5. I Am Legend Doomsday the Terminator series Gattaca Babylon AD Johnny Mnemonic All of these are definite possibilities for our future. Then again, so are Swing Vote, Hot Tub Time Machine, and iRobot. Mac
  6. Reloader's Bench, Mt Juliet, Zero Bullets, roughly $48 per 500 last time I checked. A little pricey, but they are real jackets, not plated. Mac
  7. K-Mart sucks, Ray.
  8. You know, that has an eeire resemblance to the original RoboCop. Switch out the cameras on the outside for miniguns, and we could have a problem. Mac
  9. VV N320 for 9MM, 40, and 45. CCI primers almost exclusively. But, most importantly, free range pickup brass! Mac
  10. After bailing on the diet that a lot of us signed up for last year, I have pretty much gone on a downward slide. However, I did quit smoking last September, so almost a year there. Found out Monday that I have Diabetes, and my blood sugar has been 340-365 the last couple of days, and who knows how long before that. Well, congrats to me, the weight will be coming off soon, one way or another. Think I'll go the route of diet and exercise, the other option is not recommended. Mac
  11. Remoras creep me out. Mac
  12. Braveheart and Apocalypse Now Neither are historically accurate, but both tell great stories. Platoon will always be up on the list because the 25th was my fathers unit. Mac
  13. For chain restaurants, I'd have to go with Carraba's. I have a total weakness for Italian food. For local restaurants, I'd have to say Western Sirloin in Decherd. Nothing special, except I've been eating there for 30 years, and its just like it's always been. Mac
  14. Ahhh, nerds and Youtube. We are truly blessed. He should have yelled Contact!!1!!!!!11! when he jumped off the tank and rolled. Mac
  15. Hogdon should also list recipe's on their website. Not sure about that, but nearly all powder companies do. Anyway, my pet load for 9MM is Zero 125g JHP, 4.3g VV N320, CCI SPP. OAL at 1.145. Works in 9 different 9MM pistols, accurate, clean, and reliable. Mac
  16. I have a Tanfoglio Gold Custom, which is a Witness, but with a comp and red dot (Open gun). However, it is the same frame. I shoot at OT fairly regularly, you're welcome to check it out. FWIW, Hoselton's in Tullahoma has a Witness 10MM full size and compact in the case. And last time I was in there, Franklin Gun Shop had a used Witness. Mac EDIT: Forgot to mention, the Witness is a knockoff of the CZ platform, so holding a 75b or especially a Tactical Sport, will tell you really close what a Witness feels like.
  17. Wife and I just bought the Simmons NXG memory foam bed. The top is memory foam just like Tempur-pedic, but the base is Simmons Beautyrest single coils instead of super hard foam. The only reason I'm finding it better is the base of the mattress has more air in it so it disperses heat better than the solid foam core. I CANNOT sleep if I'm the least bit warm. When laying on a memory foam mattress of any kind, you will notice that it does not dissipate heat very well. Mac
  18. I have a Breitling Chronomat I picked up in Lucerne a couple years ago and an Omega Seamaster I picked up in '94. Went with the leather band on the Chronomat, but wish I had gotten the bracelet. My daily beater is a Citizen Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT Special Edition. A Cyma and a Submariner are both on the list, but since getting the Chronomat, I'm not in any hurry. I'm at the office, so no way to do photos, but I can snap some pics when I get home and edit them in here. Mac

haha, 13 baby! Things are gonna start happening to me now! Mac Hey, Stan, check out these cans. These cans are defective.
  20. After loading 6000 rounds of 9MM versus WWB I have paid for my Dillon reloader. And that doesn't count the .40 and .38TJ I reload as well. Basically, everything saved now is profit. Mac EDIT: My 9MM reloads are .12-.14 each. WWB is .23 each. Doesn't seem like much, but when you reload 1k at a time, it adds up quick.
  21. I just can't get over the stupidity thing. It's not a race thing or a gender thing, it's a stupidity thing. WHY in the hell would she try to get in between the officer and the girl in black? It makes absolutely no sense. Mac
  22. Yeah, my permit didn't come with a cape, so unless me or my wife are in danger of getting plugged, we're on the ground calling in the cavalry. Should the danger switch directions mid-event, that's a new situation calling for new tactics. Mac
  23. If you have reasonable suspicion that he lives in Tennessee, you don't need any paperwork. If you have reasonable suspicion that he shouldn't be living in Tennessee, you don't want to mess with it. Mac

    9mm revolver

    S&W 625. What a monster. If'n I had a grand laying around, it would turn into a 625 pretty quick. But that's 45ACP, not 9mm. Mac
