Hey Robert,   Can we run our 3Gun belt rigs with holster, mag carriers, and shotgun shell holders?

Also you can go with an all black rear sight with a wide notch.  That will help you to frame-up the front sight better since there will be more light around it.   And as enfield posted, its the front sight that is the most important one to focus on.  Our eyes can only focus on one thing at a time, so get the best front sight focus that you can.

  Well El Guapo, I accept your most gracious invitation and will shoot the entire match with one of my sub-guns (less the happy switch).   Go ahead and score me as a Failure To Engage on the 200+ yard shot.  No reason to waste good 9mm in the forlorn hope that we could see a hit much less hear the bullet impact at that range.    And shooting in the Rain Is NOT a Problem.  All of my gear is still Soaking Wet and Muddy from the GRGC TAC Rifle match at Bowling Green today.    Might as well transplant some of that KY mud to Manchester.

Hmmmm..., interesting setup. I wonder why SLR didn't go Keymod at the 3 and 6 o'clock position also? Smith, are you gripping the hand guard to the rear of the 1913 rail or forward with your thumb over the top of it? I can see where the 1913 rail could act just like a shelf to rest your thumb.

I've been looking at SLR for my M92.    Trying to decide if I go with the MLOC or the Keymod/1913 like you have.    Could you post a picture of the Keymod location on the bottom of the hand guard?

My first visit to Royal Range.  Very, VERY Nice facilities and the TAP folks run a well organized match!  :up:      However......   Thursday Night turned out to be the most expensive IDPA match that I have ever shot - - - Well that is the aftermath of the match.   My Delta Elite kept choking on my old Chip McCormick shooting star mags.  Its astonishing how things can be just fine during range testing and then crap out once the timer goes off.  I had to clear a malfunction on three out of four stages!  :yuck:      So I Fixed That SH*T - - - Ordered so many Wilson Combat 10mm mags from Brownells that they are now showing them as Out-Of-Stock!  :dirty:

Self-healing reactive targets might work. We could use the target frames we had and just hang them using cheap rubber tie-downs. One of the things that did surprise me on the carbine bay was that the frames didn't take many hits.

  Enjoyed seeing you and Regan.  I was the RO/SO in the carbine bay.   We need to get her shooting TAC Carbine and 3Gun matches!    :up:
