    Kimber or SA?

I own Colt, Kimber, and SA. Like others have said its sort of a Chevy vs Ford deal when picking between Kimber or SA. However - - - If it was me the $120 would be the deal "maker." Buy the SA and then you can use the extra $120 for a good holster, or ammo, or training, etc., etc., etc.
  2. Congrat Matchguy. That is a fine looking weapon. Here is my Novak FBI package BHP. Its been my main carry sidearm for well over a decade. I've tried to carry others, but I keep going back to it.
  3. Sorry I miss it, but I was on the firing line at a local match with a M1 Garand in my hand working hard to keep'em in the 10 ring. Sounds like a great time with good people.
  4. And Mick I think that is there for the sheep to see. We Know the correct sign & I expect that Demos Knows we Know!
  5. AIM is a good company to deal with. AIM 8mm 8mm

    Good Obama Speech

Just like any other speech he has made - - - Its all about Him.
  7. Not posted in Lebanon either. I think early on it was alot of noise by the owner to make the sheep feel good. Best we not rise the issue anymore and just let Demos "forget" that they were going to post.
  8. I can't make Sat, but will plan to go Sun. Those of you who make it out there Sat, please post a report and let us know if its worth the time. Regards,
  9. Todd, Thanks, his Mom & I are cheering him on. After all those years of driving him all over the country to play travel soccer he should have some agility. What is the CVSA exam? OH..., Wonder if he should mention that he has been shooting IDPA since he was 14.
  10. So Far - - - So Good. My son has passed the written exam & first interview. Got a letter yesterday that he will be contacted to take the physical agility test. Wish "Us" Luck!
  11. The bayonet on the left is a Japanese Type 30. The symbol is either the Tokyo or Kokura Arsenal.
  12. Mark,I'll be traveling through the area mid-morning Saturday. While I won't be able to shoot, I might have the time to stop and visit. Over the years I have never been able to make it out to HCGC for a shoot - - - My "Uncle" sort of kept me busy (but he did pay for my 5.56). Now that I'm retired and don't play golf...., I plan on getting out to more shoots in the Mid TN area. See ya,
  13. Also sounds like the shooter knew what he was doing!
  14. If its a Winchester Model of 1917...., $599 would be a correct price. Check to make sure that its not an Enfield P14 which would be in .303cal.
  15. Looks like I need to make a run to Anniston! Thanks,
  16. I did that last month at a service rifle match right before doing rapid fire sitting. Reckon there really is something to that "Learned Muscle Memory" stuff......
  17. Todd, Thanks for the heads up. My son will grad with his criminal justice degree this fall and is starting to apply to local PDs. I'll pass this to him.
  18. Sort of looks like my old set-up. Make sure that you keep a copy of this picture (and one wearing it). It will make it a little bit easier when you are in your late 40s and go to the VA with a claim of lower back pain. Trust me on this one!
  19. Left - 7.62x45 Right - 7.62x39 Be careful that you don't mix up the two because the shorter ".39" round will load in a ".45" VZ-1952. Also, all the 7.62x45 ammo that I have seen does not show the caliber, only a date of production (1961 for this round).
